"I checked online & called before going up there last night. I was told they close @ 7. My daughter, grandson, & I showed up @ 5:49 pm last night & they had the gates closed & there were 2 people in there grabbing their stuff & closing down the computers. What a poor way to run a business. We have decided give it one more try & go again either this evening or tomorrow evening after work. If they are closed before 7 again, I will spend my money elsewhere. It's not just this grand child I have & have spent money on there, not to mention all of my children, nieces, nephews, god children, family, & friends. But, I am the type of customer that if I feel my business is not that important to you, then your company is not that important to me."
"I saw some posts that were not flattering before going. Glad did not let the low reviews influence decision. What a great experience! Grandbaby in for the holiday. Harley was so patient and helpful... Highly recommend."
"Not thrilled about our experience here. The worker, Davion P, had an airpod in her ear the entire time. When we walked in, it was like she was hiding in the closet and we were inconveniencing her. Barely engaged my daughter at all. She was very curt and abrupt on instructing my toddler to push the pedal, pick out a heart, etc. She didn't smile once, or make any of the experience remotely magical for my child. Perhaps this is not the field for her. Build a Bear is supposed to be fun, exciting, and special for kids. Our experience at this particular location was none of those things. 2 stars because they had an item in stock that we wanted but that was the extent of positivity that we experienced here. They also apparently don't give out the big cardboard adoption boxes at this location either."
"We came in here at 6:48 to get my daughter a build a bear with a recording of her grandmother's voice before she had to fly home. Both employees were sitting on their devices, one had a show pulled up on her iPad, and refused to even make eye contact. The stuffing machine was still running when we walked in. We knew the exact one we wanted and they said they stop making bears at 6:45pm. No where online or in the store does it say that. This is lazy and ridiculous on the part of the sad excuse for employees."
"I know they store close at 7pm, and shame on me for walking in at 6:58pm. But people has to work daily. I walked in the store, and the gate was still open. I asked if I can get 2 bears stuffed that I purchased online. The two representatives said as they checked their watches, “it’s 6:59pm, we are closed! Come back tomorrow at 10am. Build a Bear is suppose to be a great place for kids to have a great experience! But instead, your employees sit and wait till it’s “almost” time to close and turns away kids!!! Can’t recommend this place to anyone!"
