"Slowest Doctors office I ever been to in my life appointment at 11 didn’t get seen til 12 and didn’t leave til almost 3."
"July 2022 update: I requested my records and after fighting and waiting forever, I got them, but they were incomplete. Now I have to go back through the process and my new doctor needs them to move forward with my treatment. Dropping review to one star. Customer service is horrible. (I like the PA Jill E well enough, it’s the system that infuriates me). New review 6/2/22: I’ve been sitting in the waiting room 50 minutes. I’m here because I had X-rays taken 3-4 weeks ago. I had to follow up several times over the past month and was finally told that due to some computer issue, I had to get the X-rays redone. They told me to come today…I’ve wasted so much time. Calling to check on the status of the X-rays was frustrating. I tried to push the button to leave a call back message but that just puts you on hold. The hold message says they are “experiencing higher than usual call volume”, but if it’s always like that, then that is usual! Old review (February 2022): Got a same day appointment with Dr. Easley. My wife has seen her before too. They all treated me well. No complaints. Even got the X-rays quickly."
"I was really expecting more. I do think the dr is great. But if you need to call and talk with a nurse., make an appointment or anything that pertains to the front desk it’s horrible. They will put you on hold for 30-45 min, just hang up on you and are extremely rude and unprofessional"
"Dr Morgan and the entire staff was well above my expectations. Fast check in, and got me in prior to my appointment time. The facility is the best one stop medical center I have been to. Thank you to everyone."
"Update: A staff member called me and assured they were working on the bill. I'll upgrade to 5 stars as soon as the bill is worked out. Shortened Version: I was given a bill of over $500 because they don't take my insurance. However, prior to my first appointment I called to verify they accepted Tricare. Their representative said they did. I went to my first and second appointment each time stating I had Tricare. Two months later I received a bill and was told, "We just found out we don't take Tricare a couple weeks ago." This type of business practice is unethical and unacceptable. As a veteran using Tricare, I am always grateful when I can find quality healthcare that accepts my insurance. I received an ad in the mail stating that Dr. Meghan Poole was accepting new patients at St. Dominic's Family Medicine, Madison. With a great location near my home and a baby on the way, I was pleased to see this postcard. I called Doctor Poole's office to ensure they accepted Tricare. The representative I spoke with gave the affirmative. About two weeks later I set up my appointment. The front desk assistant gathered my information. On my new patient form I marked that I had Tricare as my insurance provider. The staff did not say a word about not accepting Tricare, in fact I confirmed at the time if they accepted Tricare and they agreed. I had another appointment approximately a week later. I confirmed once more that Dr. Poole's office accepted Tricare, and they agreed. About 2 months later, I received a bill in the mail with charges over $500. When I spoke to the front desk regarding the bill, they informed me that, "We just found out a couple weeks ago that we don't take Tricare." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. If I had known the facility didn't take Tricare, I would have never booked an appointment. This concept seems to miss the staff at this hospital. However, the facility decided I should be stuck with the bill, despite their representatives giving incorrect and misleading information. I was told to try and submit the bill to my insurance on my own or call billing and work something out. The point they are missing is this bill should have never occurred. The lack of professionalism and the absence of knowledge about types of insurance accepted resulted in unnecessary bills for my family. If they would have been upfront about not accepting Tricare, I would have sought care from another facility. Instead, they inform me two months post-treatment about this situation and then try to stick the full cost of the bill to my family. St. Dominic's is known for quality care, which is why I was excited to use them. However, this experience has left me angry and disappointed. The front desk staff was unwilling and unable to assist or work with me. They found no error on their part."
