"My first visit was exceptional. Dr. Calabresi was thorough, but the staff didn't have my prior medical records, which put a damper on things. I have overlapping autoimmune diseases as well as stroke history, with blood clotting issues. Personal and health issues have been a hardship. We are Military and my husband deploys rapidly and unexpectedly. I was referred back to Dr. Calabresi by Cardio. I was accepted. Today, I received a callous telephone conversation dismissing me. I just suffered another stroke and am fragile emotionally as well as physically. She was impolite, scolding, demeaning, and extremely arrogant. I attempted to explain the situation, in return, she was condescending. The letter she claimed that was never claimed was due to my husband being deployed, and I having to return to NC for help from my family. Her words were taunting in, "You will just have to call Cardio back and explain he change his mind as well as find a new Hematologist." I have been an Educator and worked as a Property Manager for over eighteen years, until my first stroke. I have never nor allowed my staff to talk to another individual, in this manner."
