Ochsner Health Center for Children - Slidell

"It’s really a great Pediatric office! I just wish my kids appointments were with their own Pediatrician more. We do get her for well visits just not always for sick visits. Otherwise it’s still a great office. The office is always clean which is very important. The only thing I wish to see in there is a section for the sick with a half wall and along the top can be planter boxes for ivys and other plants to filter the air better. There needs to be a specific area for sick because people don’t read the signs."

"Dr. Place is an excellent doctor. She really takes the time to explain anything you need to know. Also if you have any questions she will answer them all. I love that she prints out the summary too so I know exactly where my daughter should be at with learning and milestones! Highly recommend!"

"The lady taking temperatures was so nice and sweet and took care of us right away! Dr. Mitchell is always so wonderful with my children and my children are so comfortable with her. She’s so knowledgeable and informative, loved having her for our pediatrician for the past 11 years!"

"Dr Place is my 3 children's Dr and we absolutely love her!!! There have been a couple times I had to get one of then in for a sudden sickness and she wasn't there or was booked up and we've seen Dr King who is amazing also!! I can tell you this I have NEVER had this much trust in a Dr in my life!! The whole staff are awesome!!! My kids also adore Mrs. Mary!! They accept my children's Medicaid also!! So if you need a Dr please come to them you and your child will be very comfortable!!! If there is a sudden sickness they will get your child in ASAP!!! Thanks again to the whole staff for making us feel like family!!! The Mailey Family!!"
