"This is the best place in my opinion to live at in Jackson! The property manager is very helpful and does her best to get things done in a timely manner. It is very peaceful and quite here. They have a pool guy hat comes out weekly to keep the pool up so tenants can enjoy it. They even have someone pick up trash by your door twice a week so you don't even have to walk it the dumpster yourself which is very nice. I highly recommend Canton Manor Apartments to anyone!"
"The office manager, Peggy, is absolutely wonderful. She is always there when you need help with anything! She handles any issues you might have in a timely manner. The apartments are very nice and spacious!! They have a pool that is kept clean for tenants to enjoy a nice swim or to just lay out by the water! The scenery is very pretty. For it to be in Jackson, we don't have bad crime over here or unwanted guest. It is a very safe place to live."
"Don’t waste your time! Manager is overly picky about this dump. Two college roommates with two decent salaries but no credit was not allowed to rent. These apartments are extremely dated and on their last leg and the tenants there should demand better. Carpet should not be allowed in any apartment because you are going behind years of dirt and bacteria. Wow!"
"I lived here for exactly 2 years and moved out this summer. The manager is friendly, and usually available, but expect to call her often because the place is in rough shape. During my time there, I had 16 separate maintenance calls, which left me with a stack of "We Visited" slips from maintenance. I've kept them as keepsakes of this place being one of the most high maintenance I've lived in. Twelve of the maintenance visits were plumbing related, and they did call a professional plumber on the fifth call. Unfortunately that never fixed the issue, the laundry room, which is carpeted, flooded about every two weeks from running either the dishwasher or washing machine, and some times it flooded from running the sink. I definitely got tired of moving the washer and renting a carpet cleaner to suck the water out, which happened twice due to how bad it was. The old maintenance person was awful and unable to keep up with things, but thankfully, the new lady is awesome and was able to take care of this issue in January of this year. The issue which led to my having to move out was the black mold infestation in the back bedroom. It all started when our window leaked due to the dryrot on the seal. I brought it up multiple times and was vaguely told something had been done, but it was so bad that we moved everything out of the room and sealed it off the last two months I lived there because both of us kept getting sick. As a final insult, they jerked me around for two months before sending me an invoice that stated that amount we were told on move out to expect back from our deposit was deducted due to carpet damage we weren't supposed to worry about. TL;DR Ultimately, it's $700ish for a 2BR/1.5BA in a semi-safe area, that happens to be extremely conveniently for anyone that is single and doesn't mind it being a bit rough around the edges."
"I don't have a star to rate this apartment complex. The management lets your apartment floors rot and ceilings have leaks with mold in the sheet rock for months. They just cover it up with a new floor tile or paint. Maintenance comes to inspect and does nothing about it, they just cover it up with a new floor tile or paint. It's sad that the owners even let it get this bad."
