"INTERNET: DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT OR NEED ANY INTERNET CONNECTION. If you have business that you need to attend to over the internet, this is not the place you need to stay. Inorder to cut costs, they have slowed the bandwidth speeds down to disabling speeds. During the day, the internet is practically unusable. It's like trying to use your cell phone data after you've run out of high-speed data. It's a very unprofessional tactic to use for such hefty 2024 'inflation' prices. You don't serve any breakfast, your ice machines don't work, your coke machines regularly take people's money and you're cutting cost through the internet? It's ridiculous. SAFETY: This is not a safe area. They no longer have security at night. The gates in the back don't close and they haven't even attempted to fix them. In true South West Jackson spirit, I would say. FRONT DESK: Most of the staff at the desk are very professional and nice. MANAGEMENT/HOUSEKEEPING: They NEVER have clean towels. Whenever I go to the front desk and ask for ANYTHING, they are out 90% of the time out. The manager and his band of house keepers are insane. I've seen the manager, who lives on the property as well - along with his wife and two kid's, threaten multiple people with a sledge hammer; scream at the top of his lungs at people like a complete moron. His wife always double park's. Why? It's causing congestion in the area and is causing safety issues. The housekeepers think they are the innkeepers. You have to watch them because they will not clean properly. If you have your own blankets or linen, they will throw them on the floor while changing the bed. It's like they don't understand the concept of sanitation. They won't wash the bathtubs or around the toilets. They just do the type of cleaning that fools the eye into believing that the place is clean. COMFORTABILITY: If you're looking for a good nights sleep and a comfortable hotel, this may be sufficient - if you get the right room. Some of the rooms smell like animals live in them. Keep your head on a swivel because no telling when you might run into a homeless person hanging out on the stairs, or hear a staccato progression of random gunshot. There was a group of 6 homeless people right across the street at the Dollar Tree, a few days ago arguing over who had jurisdiction and authority. It's the craziest place and area I've ever lived in"

"When I arrived at the motel to check in the doors were locked. I stood at the night window for approximately 15 minutes ringing the bell for someone to check me in. Finally I left and called the motel three times before someone answered. When the front desk person did answer the phone she was very rude. Helaving driven all day, I didn’t feel like finding another motel as I already had reservations at this one and I was traveling with dogs. Motel 6’s are always pet friendly. After checking in and getting a room key, my first impression upon opening the door was the smell. It was some kind of cleaning product trying to mask a bad smell. Ok, I’m tired, I can deal with the smell. When I tried to open the refrigerator the whole door fell off. Ok, I can do without the fridge. Later on o called the front desk to ask for the Wi-Fi password. The front desk clerk, whom I could barely understand, hung up on me without giving me the password. I decided to walk around to the office and ask for the Wi-Fi password, but when I opened my door to leave the room there were approximately 5-6 unsavory looking young black men standing outside of my room smoking pot. Ok, I can do without the Wi-Fi. I decided to take a shower and call it a night. The bathtub and shower had hairs plastered to the wall and the tub. The shower head was pointed at the wall and would not budge. Anyway, I made thru the night and when I left the next morning I accidentally left a couple things behind. I called for three days before I finally got a manager. He did they only found one of my items which means the housekeepers must have stolen the other item. I asked him to send my belongings to me as most any other motel would do and he said I have to send him a prepaid self addressed box for him to send it in. Ok, I can deal with that. While I had the manager on the phone I decided to tell him how rude the front desk clerk was and he just wasn’t interested. I guess her behavior in ok with him. Would not recommend this motel to anyone! Still waiting for my items to be shipped to me."

"The room smells like a mix of urine, and old cigarettes. The rooms definitely need to be cleaned better. The dog pulled a couple things out from under the bed. Can tell there was water damage in the bathroom. Update 4/28/2023 They at first didn't release our deposit first claiming we had been smoking (we don't even smoke). When my husband pointed out my review they changed their story saying we took the bed spread. (that was stained.) When he pointed out the review again the person he talked to said he needed to talk to the house keeper. We ended up getting out deposit back. I hardly ever take pictures and actually write out reviews like I did here. I am so happy I did."
