"Usually I only write reviews when I have a bad experience, but this apartment complex is so good that I figured I would write a positive review. I did have to wait a couple months to get a spot, but the apartment I got is in a beautiful location and I love it!! The community is wonderful. The gym, pool, and other outdoor areas are well-kept and not usually crowded. In person, the office workers are very kind and helpful. I have been living here for 6 months now. The staff does family-friendly community events, like trunk or treat and outdoor movies! I put in a maintenance request and they came the next day and solved the problem! I could not imagine having a better experience with an apartment complex than I have had with the trails. I highly recommend!"

"Potential RENTERS BEWARE!!! I can’t even give a 1 star in good conscience. The Trails WAS a nice place to live. Since its opening, in 2020, it has gone down the toilet. You can wait months to get into a unit & the price you pay is not worth what you actually get. The property manager, Nancy, has total disregard for a residents peace, comfort & safety. Making a complaint or addressing a concern is a total joke to her & complete waste of your time. Pretty sure she sits behind the desk, like a puppet, while someone tells her what to do. The office staff is a piece of work. If you dare call and ask a question there’s always attitude in their voices (especially Karen) as though you’re bothering them. Residents find it appropriate to play make excessive noise, including loud music, at all hours of the night ;despite the lease agreement acknowledging quiet hours. It’s always a “trashy situation”! Residents are always throwing trash out of their cars or placing it on top of the car, driving off and forget about going to the dumpster. Trash is never picked up around the property & the dumpsters are always overflowing onto the ground. The electrical is a mess. Many outlets do not work or have a short. Let’s talk maintenance! The maintenance manager seems knowledgeable and cares about his job; however his employees are dumber than a box of rocks and the turnover is high. Maintenance requests are always half way done or not done at all & maintenance emergencies are addressed at their leisure. Spiders are a huge issue. Having them spray more often than recommended does not even solve the problem. Amenities are only during office hours, which means no pool, gym or playground unless someone is staring you down."

"Zero stars needs to be an option! These apartments are no longer luxurious at all they are only priced that way!! People play their music so loud you can hear it clearly in your apartment. No respect for their neighbors. People are allowed to let there animals feces pile up throughout the grounds instead of cleaning up behind them! People and children are being exposed to other people animals bacteria and diseases!! It's gotten way out of hand. Here’s a solution: Other complexes that once had horrific fecal problems not only require a picture of your animal they require a fecal sample as well. They test any feces left on their grounds and fines the owner $100 and the owner is responsible for the testing cost also. After multiple violations their lease is no longer renewable. Problem solved!! Aliyah in the office is the worst!! Her attitude is absolutely disgusting. She is ALWAYS rude and curt. If you don't like your job why bother coming in?? Maybe you can use that energy to get the apartments back up to higher and healthier standards instead of creating hell for the residents. People leave their garbage outside their doors (including overnight) until they feel like taking it to the dumpster. They let it leak into the cement. This causes horrific odors and bugs. There are spider webs everywhere. You have to fight through them to get to and into your apartment. Why is this allowed?? The garbage trucks drops trash during pick up, runs it over, and leaves a trail of trash all down Old Jackson rd. Their is literally trash including used condoms stuck to the ground by the dumpsters. Which is utterly disgusting and pathetic. Also, if you live by the lake they charge you more rent only to look at all the paper/trash people throw around it that no one cleans up!! This place needs a thorough deep cleaning!!"

"This apartment area is okay, but I don’t think the rent prices are worth it. I also I feel like there could be more amenities! We have a key card for the gym here but it's limited to when the office opens to closes. So to me it should be 24 hrs but it’s not! Also, for extra stuff you have the option of heading to "The Links" which is part of the same company if you want to use the things like sauna or snack bar. I also think the Links has two pools, which we need because the only one they have is centered in the middle by the office where everyone from their balcony can see you! Which is not helpful for people with anxiety. As far as the people mentioning how the staff acts, I don't fully agree. I'd say it's 50-50. Also, I don’t think they’ll ever fix the spider issue because it’s a big one and they do power-wash the apartments rarely throughout the months but it doesn’t help.I feel like it has a lot of potential but they aren't living up to it."
