The Park at Newhaven

"I believe the management was not knowledgeable about her property or just didn't care period and definitely wasn't trying to accommodate me in my request for a washer/ dryer hookup amenity.was told to pay deposit within 24 hrs,but when showed up to property to try to view a unit before I paid deposit, there were not any ready and nothing to view which was weird and I asked was there an unit with a washer/ dryer hook up,she stated she didn't know,omg and there was 6 units available but didn't know if they had a hookup or not.and will that be a deal breaker for me ,I replied yes because that was an amenities I required so she stated will call me back as soon as she walked property the next day to check,I called the next day,well manager didn't show the next day and the assistant couldn't go because she was the only one working in office. unbelievable,so I decided to call after the New Year to find out if someone walked properly and manager had attitude states no not one out 6 units had a hookup and I was like ok well so because that was a deal breaker for me then I just lost my $75 application fee when I applied she said they had some units w/ washer and dryer hookups.I don't understand how a manager doesn't have a floor plan to look at to see what units have the amenities or an unit to view to really see if you even want the apartment..so unprofessional to the fullest.."

When my husband and I separated, I downsized, and moved across the street to Edgewood Terrace apartments, which at time both were owned by the same person I loved my new apartment, although, I didn't have my fireplace or back porch, it was spacious and beautiful."

"Don’t really know what’s going on here. Came in for a visit on a friday hoping to get a tour. There were two ppl in the office. Both nice. However, they seem unprepared. No brochures. Late. No model for showings. There were units available but they didn’t want to show me any. Like I said, nice people. But I made it clear I had limited time to move-in and they took it lightly. I have yet to get a call back. Also, the laundry room seemed sketchy, dirty, and old. I went into one section and it was a bit smelly. Some guy was blasting his music in the parking lot at 9:30am… Just my initial thoughts and going to look somewhere else. I’ll be willing to change my review if things change within the next week."
