"My sister had gallbladder surgery here and almost died. She was on a ventilator for 8 days. My aunts aunt did die after gallbladder surgery. My daughter’s friends mother died after a hysterectomy here. Then another friend died of internal bleeding after a surgery. This hospital needs to be investigated. Who knows how many other victims have suffered. Recently, I myself, was admitted to the ER. A Dr. Smith did a ton of blood work. He NEVER told me any results. Fast forward months later another doctor seen the blood work. I ended up in the hospital with kidney damage. This could have been prevented. KDMC and their doctors saved my life and my kidney’s. If you want doctors to take your life seriously don’t come to this hospital."
"This hospital should be closed. Went for help at noon and no one helped so we left. Went to Walmart where my spouse passed out and was transported back this same hospital where they just left him sitting in the lobby for hours. I began to advocate peacefully for my spouse and 9 security guards were sent to intimidate us then while finally getting triage they had a cop show up who seemed to understand the situation just fine and left. After the cops that showed up left the nurse practitioner utilized passive aggressive behavior to assess my spouse. Finally an older male nurse practitioner came and did what needed to be done within 5 minutes. This hospital is the only one in McComb and the fact that they treat patients with such disregard is beyond me."
"Ambulatory care they say… I’ve read so many reviews that are so similar to my experience and sad to say I’m glad I am not alone. I was in a car wreck and came to this hospital to be seen. I was told nothing was wrong went home next day pain still there. My entire leg was swollen and would not go down. The pain was as terrible granted, however I wasn’t given any crutches no one wrapped my leg I didn’t even get a Tylenol. In one month I’ve been here 5 times, afraid I have a clot in my leg. I was pushed in and back out. Is this an urgent care or hospital I’m a bit concerned. Er doctor referred me to Peavey, Peavy referred me to Jeff. At this point I feel like I am being thrown around. I’ve worked as a medical professional for years and also for Blue Cross Blue Shield. There are some leadership issues because as you can see the problem isn’t being corrected. A PATIENT should never leave your HOSPITAL feeling like they’re NOT valued, treated fairly, or forgotten. We are here to be treated fairly and heard! Btw Peavy office was very polite and professional. They were also confused as to why I was sent there for my DX. It’s like nobody knows nothing, not just here and there it’s ALL THE TIME. Praying for us all. Hope you guys feel better. ❤️"
"The only knowledgeable and Friendly staff are the ER Registration staff. After that The ER Nurses and Doctors could careless about patient care. My Dad was treated like a number not a patient. The Nurses get agitated if the pt request something as simple as a blanket or water. We called 3 times for a blanket. I do not recommend this Hospital if you are seeking medical attention and want quality care."
"My wife was forgot about and never was seen by a doctor for 32 hours. Until I asked some one and the doctor couldn’t believe it. No medicine to help the throwing up or nothing. We’re not pain seekers we’re hard working people who go to the ER when something bad happens we’re farmers. Now we’re forgot about again trying to get discharged it’s just unbelievable! Not to mention the guard lady with the power struggle on me backing out the driveway that was blocked by the ambulance. It was something else. Never again. If I’m dying dig the hole don’t bring me there. They stressed my wife and myself out to the max for no cause of it So sad"
