The Orchid Bed and Breakfast

"Summary: Wonderful place to stay, great food and the owners are amazing. If I could give them 7 stars, I would. -- Stayed there last week and I highly recommend it. Disclosure: My wife and I honeymooned there years ago when it was the Millsaps Buie House. Anyway, my lovely wife surprised me with a stay at the Orchid. And it was a wonderful, wonderful surprise. First, the house is in amazing shape. And lighter and brighter than I remember it being, but with the same classic feel it had. I don't know how they did it, but they did and it was beautifully done. Second, the owners are great. Jason is also the cook. And folks, they made an amazing breakfast that accommodated my dietary restrictions. Kudos to Jason. And Katrice - because she was so pleasant to talk to. We learned so much about what's happened in Jackson since we moved away. Look, it's a wonderful place. Please consider staying there if you have the opportunity."

"A beautiful property with elegant furnishings and décor located very close to the downtown capital with all the museums. Would make a great location for family reunions or weddings with a large back yard, fountain, patio and plenty of spaces for socializing. Jason was a great host and his mother went all out on decorating for the holidays."
