Reviews
"The staff is amazing! They’re all really sweet and do their job very well. I’m unable to take any mental health medication, and this treatment option has helped me tremendously! Overall, I’m very satisfied with the treatment there. It doesn’t completely get rid of my depression, but it does minimize it a lot, and works wonders on my anxiety. I strongly recommend this place! Easily 4-5 stars!!"
"I recently had the most amazing upper body massage at this Neuro Spa! The skilled therapist provided a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The ambiance was serene, and the techniques used were tailored to my specific needs. I highly recommend this place!"
"I had the most delightful massage experience at your gorgeous office. The massage team was incredibly attentive to my specific needs, and the entire staff created a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that made me feel truly cared for. It was like being wrapped in a warm, comforting embrace! Marsha was my masseuse, and I will be a returning client!"
"If you are interested in TMS, please do intense research beforehand. I was never given a guarantee about this treatment, which is very fair. Nothing in life is guaranteed, and I understand that completely. My issue with life post-TMS is the fact that I was not explained how TMS can affect your life in different ways other than combating anxiety and depression. While in TMS treatment, my brain went into overdrive. Suddenly, I had all of the motivation and confidence to begin on my dreams. The problem is, all you're doing is going day by day on this high without the other part of your brain telling you to take a step back and evaluate the repercussions. Let's just say, because of treatment, I'm dealing with a ton of hardship as a result of TMS outside of unknown insurance payments. When you're going from 0-100 combating a mental illness, it's incredibly hard to realize that is important. Verbal therapy should be mandatory while in treatment, not a once and awhile 10 minute phone call with the office's NP. The date of my first appointment was the day I completed my first round of treatment. I was advised I would be fully covered by insurance, the whole process was suspiciously easy for a mental health treatment in America. I'm talking less than an hour. Well, now I'm struggling to deal with handling medical debt I was not informed about. I get it, if Neurospa replies, I'll probably get the whole "we don't control insurance" spiel. That would be a proper response if I wasn't advised I would be fully covered. I asked so many questions. Back to the "it taking less than an hour" for me to speak with the doctor, insurance to "approve" me, and hook me up to the TMS device - I have suspicions here. First off, I want to say EVERY person here including Dr. Vyverberg were kind to me upfront. But, multiple times coming into treatment - I started to get a bad vibe. My insurance claims were being processed in disordered amounts per session, some claims had 1 session, some 2, some 14 - not only that, but for insane copays that were not broken down for me when I asked every question in the book. Perfectly working/in good condition massage chairs/furniture/decor etc were being replaced, everything was being upgraded just to be upgraded. Which, again, I'm not stating these individuals aren't allowed to do what they want to with their money. But with TMS being a cash-grab in some clinics (which I heard through research beforehand, but decided to look into TMS for possible relief anyway), it gave me the ick. Just my observation. TMS has finished, and I haven't been back since. I want to state that TMS has helped me in many ways, but I created a lot of graves for myself along the way. I hope this review can help those looking into TMS and also Neurospa in how they handle their practices at their clinic."
"They have the best service! Shane, Ashley, Camille and the rest of the staff are so compassionate. They are always happy to see you and very attentive. The Gulf Coast Neuro Spa offers TMS treatment for depression and/or anxiety. You sit in a very comfortable chair with heat and massage. The staff provides you with many drink and snack options. The company is very accommodating to military different work schedules. They even have a masseuse on staff! The atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxing."
