"This place is a joke. We’ve had some good teachers but they have the most horrible admin you could imagine. Super rude and unprofessional. Don’t ever expect to escalate something to the owner because they only allow you to talk to Chelsea who just tells you what you want to hear at the time. Can’t keep teachers. Kicked our two children out with zero notice over something we had absolutely NOTHING to do with! They called us mid-day saying to come pick them up. We arrive to speak with the owner and she is coincidentally not there. What is sickening is the fact they had our children in the office when we arrived. They were turned into the health dept over some issues others were having and we got blamed. The admin said they don’t care if a 4 year old can hold a pencil and write their name. Apparently it’s not their job to teach children. Just baby sitters. Our daughter has even been blamed/punished for things she didn’t do on the playground. They rolled the cameras back at our request for proof. Never apologized or disciplined the teacher for the way she handled it."
"I would tell my worst enemy to avoid this place. They are not staffed to handle kids in a proper manner. They only would communicate on the brightwheel app. When an Admin would send us a message, it would never say who sent the message. They would say one thing to your face but then send something in the app saying there was a problem. Multiple times my kids would come home with cuts and bruises and know one could tell me what happened. I picked my son up today and his face looked like it was clawed at. When I asked what happened, the teacher said I don’t know. I just got here. I was told by a teacher that she felt my son was being pick on and labeled by other teachers. When my wife told the director about this, her only response was to find the name of the teacher I talked to so she could discipline her."
"Today was our last day at this facility due to the fact that they stated “we just can’t do this behavior anymore.” My son was kicked out of this facility due to his behavior issues. The issue today was he wouldn’t sit in his chair. I have spoken with multiple doctors regarding the issues that the teachers and staff are saying are happening at the facility. Everyone I spoke to tells me he is being a normal toddler. I even took my son to the doctor regarding his behavior that they were saying was such a big issue in the classroom. After speaking with his pediatrician he advised some more time to adjust to the daycare and to start some therapy. I then spoke with Chelsea on Friday and she said okay we will give him next week and see how he does. I then get a call today (Monday) from another director Mary that after today my son could not attend this daycare anymore. This is so hard for two working parents in the home. One day of prep is not sufficient to find decent childcare. My husband and I were also told by a teacher that our son was being singled out by other teachers and staff. As a parent who is suppose to protect there children this makes me sick. I told Chelsea this information and she advised me it was not true. Well I strongly disagree as my son valentines were never handed out to his class after I notified the teacher and director. I also many times asked to speak with the owner and I was told that was not an option I needed to take my issues up with the director. There were many times that we would ask how our son was doing and got “oh he did great” when in reality he didn’t. This place is not good with children who are a little different and don’t fit in exactly perfect. Or if they just need more time to adjust to the setting. Staff communication was poor and not timely. I would not recommend this daycare unless your child is perfect in their eyes."
"Avoid this daycare. 1.Bottle mix-up - my baby was given someone else’s bottle. 2. Poor communication -informed admin of this mix-up and ZERO communication was ever returned on this incident - I sent a message in Birghtwheel and verbally asked about it. They never even said they would look into it. They said it was an admin’s responsibility who had been on leave. 3. Short staffing/high staff turnover, unhappy staff - I witnessed 3 short instances of staff being higher than 1:5 infant ratio, the infant room I was in had 2 new teachers in less than a month, staff seem frustrated with lack of coverage. 4. Mom shaming - I was told my 4 month old infant was spoiled, excessively fussy for crying after only receiving 6 oz in 9 hours and not being put down for naps, we were told to stop holding our child 5. Insufficient teacher interaction - infants in her room were often in bouncers all day, teachers do not get in floor with infants, toy use is limited. 6. Immediate dismissal- our 4.5 month infant was dismissed with less than 24 hour notice after only being in day care 17 days for excessive fussiness. We were told she was not suitable for group daycare. She is at another daycare and they have not had issues besides getting her to go down for her second nap, which they think will happen after another week of adjustment. 7. High exposure - infants are likely exposed to 30 other infants because they start in one room at the beginning of the day, are moved to their teacher’s room, then moved to another room after 4 pm. They do not currently have afternoon teacher staff."
"We have had our child here for three months now, and I am so grateful we were able to enroll him here! Coming from a bad daycare situation, I was initially very nervous. From the moment I walked in, I was met with kindness and compassion. Administration answered all my questions and concerns, and since the first day has always been available to answer questions and talk about literally anything regarding my little one. Also, the owner was on site and talked with us twice over two days when we toured. His classroom is always under control and my son has thrived here. His teacher encouraged him to walk, and he has come home with new skills almost every week. His teacher is so engaged and caring, and really takes such excellent care of the kids in her charge. I can tell she absolutely cares about them. I know leaving your child in someone else’s care can be scary, but I have experienced such reassurance that my child is safe and happy and well cared for."
