"This was a disappointment - the property is breathtaking, however it is not managed well. Our room was clean, I’ll give it that, but as you walk around the mansion, there were cigarette buds still on patio furniture, alcoholic drinks left out all over the mansion porch, and the breakfast was terrible. The breakfast room was not clean, and all they had was some breakfast sandwiches (like the convenience store brands) and coffee and orange juice. There were out of a lot of stuff, had no water for drinking and filling up water bottles, etc. also the mansion (main floor) hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. It appears to be owned by a property management group who likely cares little about guests experience. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else in Natchez."

"My boyfriend got me a gift certificate for Christmas for $250. We booked a weekend stay for valentines, i showed Them my gift certificate at arrival and the concierge told me I do not owe anything. I was Shocked but was obviously ok with that. That night it was very hot in the room, beds were not comfy, and the pillows might as well have been paper pillows. Our fan in our room did not work and they advertised robes on the website which my boyfriend was super excited about and they did not provide them and didn’t even have them at all in the entire place. The castle restaurant was the best experience we had the entire time. On that Saturday I saw where the Inn charged my card for the entire stay, didn’t even apply the gift certificate. I go To the front desk to ask and no one could help but the manager who was not there. How can a hotel manager not be there on a Sunday at checkout time????? So i had To leave with a large sum charged to my card and a number to contact the manager who i was Told “would not answer my phone call until 2:30”…I’m sorry but this place is not it. It’s beautiful, but needs major improvement in functioning properly."

"The worst night sleep in all my life. This is not an exaggeration.. such a disappointment for various reasons (explained below). Plenty of other nice places to stay in Natchez.. do yourself a favour and do not chose this one. Please note I am pretty easily pleased person so it's not nice for me having to write this. Breakfast: truly don't even bother at this point... insulting to guests. To advertise that as breakfast is embarrassing. I'm used to the cold coming from northern Europe...but the room was freezing. I'd be fine with that if we had a duvet of some kind but nope..rather bizzare. We realised one of the external glass window panels was broken/removed from our room on the way out too. Woken up at 12 2 4am by noisiest guests. No idea what they were doing. This is obviously no fault of the hotel but the terribly terribly loud flooring didn't help. The grounds I will say are lovely which is why we chose this in the first place..but honestly don't make the same mistake we did."

"People were friendly. Rooms nice. Unfortunately they were setting up a huge tent on Tuesday for a wedding on Saturday and it made our stay very noisy and disruptive. This was all going on right outside the rooms in the courtyard. So much for a peaceful stay."
