"Hotel is outdated. Location is meh. Rooms are not very clean and need work. Roach found our last night of stay. Bathroom not cleaned very well. Night front desk man very nice and helpful. Continental breakfast is very lacking. Is basically two types of cereal and packaged muffins. Nothing hot or fresh. Also, no elevator. If you have heavy bags request a ground floor room or you'll have to drag them up the stairs. Overall, it was safe and not the worst option available. I am not sure this is a $80/night hotel any more. Maybe $50."

"Cheaper place to stay but not terrible. Stay when I'm in town for work, it's never noisy or have suspect people around. Breakfast isn't amazing but it's available early and is enough to get me started for the day. Walmart, dollar tree, and Dollar general are all right there, along with a pizza hut."

"If I could give negative stars I would. The entire place smells like a combination of cigarettes and feces. Our room had a giant hole in the wall, things were falling off the wall in the washroom. The bathroom fan was so loud and screechy. I tried to make the best of it and pulled back the blanket on the bed to reveal a very suspect brown smear on the sheets. We asked for another room and it had a machine set up in there that was noisy and causing the room to be smoky. The secondary lock was broken, and the panel covering the key lock access was removed, allowing anyone to attempt to gain access to the room. When we went back to the front desk for the second time, they refused to return our deposit when we wanted to leave, because we had checked in more than 15 minutes prior (of course we had, we’d been back and forth to the front desk and to two different rooms). The front desk tried to play stupid on returning the money when he finally did agree and wanted to only give a partial refund. Back and forth with Expedia and our credit card company, along with the front desk, after an hour and a half, we were finally refunded so we could leave to find another hotel. Do not stay here."

"Great location and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The hotel has recently been updated and it is nice and clean."
