"A local hangout, my kind of place. The ribs, baked beans, and coleslaw were excellent. I made sure to introduce myself to Mr. Ronnie and Mrs. Betty (she ran off to the store for more wings) after eating because I enjoyed their food and hospitality. Truly some down-to-earth good-hearted folks. Even though I wasn’t local everyone in there was friendly and talkative. A great bunch of people to be around. It was a pleasure meeting y’all and will be sure to stop by again next time i’m passing through."

"I smelled the BBQ as I crossed the tracks on Church Street. Sure enough, there was Ronnie outside at the smoker. He was taking off ribs and sausage and yelled at me to come in for lunch. Man, am I glad I did - those ribs were delicious! Betty served them with fried okra and potato salad - spectacular! More than that, these are great people and the history here is fascinating. The murals outside are great and Ronnie gave me a personal tour through the historical marker across the street. If you're in town for the B.B King Museum, go this place and meet them yourself. Did I mention that the ribs were great?"
