"Ate there yesterday and was not very impressed with the restaurant side. My shrimp was overcooked and small, the guy taking our order rushed us while ordering and got the order wrong, and the meals didn’t come out at the same time. We had high hopes for this restaurant as it was recommended by several people who said it was great. On a positive point, we went this morning and purchased a large amount of fresh shrimp for our freezer. We were very pleased with the service we received and the shrimp are beautiful. Will definitely repurchase fresh seafood but won’t dine here again."

"Fantastic! Was picking up a sack of oysters and decided to get a couple po boys. The shrimp was overstuffed and well seasoned. Perfect bread and super fresh shrimp. The roast beef was not my favorite type of (roast beef po bot)texture but was delicious! Will be back soon!"

"Have been going to Kenney’s for the past few years for fresh seafood, boiled crawfish and the occasional steamed lobster. But it’s the first time I had a chance to sit down with a friend and eat inside, because I’m usually on the go! I was treated to the fried oyster salad, which was generously proportioned and cooked to golden perfection on a bed of house salad greens and tomatoes. Exactly what I was craving! My friend had shrimp on a bun and it was delicious from her report. Fun Louisiana fishing camp type interior decor and photos added to the atmosphere and charm of this go-to local favorites. Highly recommended."

"My recent dining experience at Kenney Seafood left me with a generally positive impression. The restaurant prides itself on serving fresh seafood, and it certainly lived up to that promise. The variety of seafood available was impressive, and the overall quality was excellent. The hot sausage Po-boy was super good and full of flavor. The shrimp pasta was amazing and tasty. The concept of having the seafood boiled after placing the order ensured maximum freshness. However, one minor disappointment was the level of seasoning on the boiled seafood. Since the boiling process occurred after ordering, the flavors didn't penetrate the seafood as deeply as I would have liked. While the seafood was still enjoyable, a stronger seasoning would have elevated the overall taste experience."
