"Very small landing with a VERY steep incline going down onto the river. Be cautious when using their landing as it could be potentially hazardous. Otherwise it's clean and the neighborhood it is in is very nice."
"Seems like they could be doing more for these launch spots on the upper part of the Tualatin River.. between Farmington and the 99w bridge, there is very little upkeep going on and the kayak launch spots are all lacking. This one in particular is a literal 10ft dirt cliff during the summer water levels and is pretty hard to use unless your kayak is extremely light weight."
"Kayak Launching / Landing- We landed here Sunday morning and it's not a gradual slope like the pictures from before. It had eroded so one person had to climb up and pull the kayak as it was a steel fall. If you have a heavier kayak, it may take some effort but certainly doable. There was a string on the tree so I was able to pull the kayak up while my Friend pushed it up. Almost like a 5'-6' fall. Wish I took a picture."
"Very difficult put in and take out but it is possible when you tie the rope to the kayak and pull it out of the river. I will say the Farmington paddle launch to Eagle Landing is my very favorite stretch of the tualatin, so for me it was worth it. These are pictures taken from my kayak looking at the hill. The pictures really don't represent how steep it really is."
