"I have been going to this groomer for over a year. They have done a good job with the actual grooming (cutting his hair every two months). It's been only the last two times my dog has gone in, that there has been an increase in small nicks (cuts) from the grooming getting too close. We have had occasional issues with communication on drop off and pick up, but it was still reasonable enough to continue going. It wasn't until recently, that my little dog was catching his nails on a blanket in my home and yelping that this came to my attention. The small nail on all four paws was so long that it was curving into a half circle. Two of these nails were so long that soon it would be creating a cut on the pad of his foot. They were so long I was not able to cut them on my own. This is totally unacceptable. I take him in every two months. Not only were they not cutting these nails, but they didn't tell me that this was going on. My dog is a shih Tzu, which has very long hair. This is why I never noticed what was going on with his nails on the pinky of each foot. The longer hair was blocking it. I was able to take my dog to the vet, and they were able to cut the nails, but I will never take him back to this groomer."
"Only been there once.....but amazingly after taking my dog to the groomers for 16 years now this was the first time I felt that he felt comfortable and wasn't anxious to leave like in the past. My only explanation is they treated him extremely well and gentle. And that alone means the world to me. I quit taking him a few years ago to get groomed because he was getting so old and tried to groom him myself but now I will be taking him here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❣❤"
