About the Business
The Other Side Nursery is a small plant shop located in Gresham, Oregon, now with a physical location at 458 Southeast 185th Avenue in Portland. Established in 2019, we originally started as a booth at the local farmer's market. Specializing in indoor plants, we aim to bring a touch of nature into your living or work space. While our current focus is on indoor plants, we hope to expand to outdoor plants in the future. With a passion for plants and years of experience in growing and caring for them, we are dedicated to helping our customers succeed in their plant endeavors. "I love this nursery!! The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly. I really appreciate the owners suggestions and feedback regarding proper care of my new additions. I love that the pet- friendly plants are marked, so I don't have to ask about every plant in interested in. My thumb is slowly turning green and I had a lot of fun looking around, asking questions and trying to find the perfect plants. Also I asked about a plant that they didn't have, and the owner said he may be able to get it; super awesome!!!"
"Very cute and fun little store with a huge variety of plants. Pricing is also very affordable. I visited here a few months back with my husband and haven't been able to return yet, but plan to soon! I purchased a few things and then complimented the begonia in the terrarium near the door. The owner was kind enough to give me a cutting! Absolutely amazing customer service. The place can be hard to find, but don't let that discourage you, it's absolutely a hidden gem!"
"This is one of my favorite stores in Rockwood. The prices are reasonable and I’ve bought a few plants from them. Such amazing people and always welcoming. This is why i keep coming back. I love looking a all of the plants and I have a lot of plants. I have my eye on a few. I love their selection and NONE of the plants I’ve purchased have died. They even indicate how much light the plants need. There are crystals there too! Stop in and pick up a plant or two. Yes, the shop is small but who doesn’t like to be cozy? I attached a picture of the plant I purchased and it has grown so much in 3 weeks. I love them!"
