"Traveling on I5, on 12-8-23 at 3pm, one of their trucks had rocks fly/bounce out of his trailer and hit our windshield 2 times before we could change lanes safely, to avoid getting hit again. Trailer should be tarped!!!"
"This company has hired truck drivers who can’t drive safely - they nearly crashed into me . They drive without regard for other’s safety or traffic laws. Using your vehicle as a weapon is illegal"
"Joe (White?) their technician, did a great job of clearing a main roof drain of our 5-story condo building today, going over 30 ft underground with the camera, and then jetting it clear. Very very pleased with his work."
"Today we had a plumbing emergency. Another contractor (utility) accidentally broke our waterline. Portland Mechanical Contractors was dispatched to help. When I called, Sabrina was very understanding and did her best to get us a tech asap despite how busy they were. The tech (Eric) was a pro. He handled the problem and we got our water back 2 hrs ahead of schedule. Not an easy thing to do these days. Thanks PMC."
"This is the first online review I have ever written about anything - I just am left with the worst feeling that I was totally taken advantage of. I called Portland Mechanical to replace the filters for the air conditioning at my office, as well as look into a whistling noise that was coming from the unit. After a couple of hours, the whistling noise was fixed. Eric came back to our location on two separate occasions for several hours over the next few days. On the third day he handed me a bill for 17 hours of labor, plus 1.5 hours of overtime and over $900 in supplies. He did not announce his arrival or departure for the two additional days he was here. $3,200 to replace the filters and fix a whistling problem that stopped two hours after he was here. I felt so taken advantage of that he continued to work on our air conditioning when he was not asked to. I explained that we are a small business, and were not prepared to spend thousands of dollars on unwanted repairs with no warning. When I expressed my frustration to him, he said that he didn't think I seemed too concerned about money. I told him that most people are. I will never call Portland Mechanical again and would not recommend them to anyone."
