"The mechanic and owner were very nice, and went out of their way to point out the problem and show what was the cause of the problem."
"prompt, professional, and courteous. I brought my xc90 in and he addressed all issues I had as well as a few that came up in the inspection. I lost the lug key to my wheels and they drove out to Jim Fischer to get a replacement on my behalf. I am happy to have found VO motors and will be using this shop as our sole service provider going forward"
"I recently had another amazing experience at VO Motors, and I am thrilled with their service. As someone who has had their Volvo repaired multiple times over the years, I confidently say that this is the best place to go. The team at VO Motors not only replaced my water pump flawlessly, but they also went above and beyond by discovering and fixing an issue with my timing belt. This discovery has made a significant impact on the performance of my car. I have owned my Volvo for 14 years, and it has seen its fair share of mechanics. From inexperienced beginners to self-proclaimed Volvo gurus, I have had all levels of expertise work on my car. However, VO Motors stands out from the rest. They demonstrated a level of professionalism and expertise that surpassed my expectations. My Volvo has an impressive 560,000 miles on it, and although it was running decently, I knew that something wasn't quite right with the timing. There wasn't a single setting where the engine ran smoothly under all conditions. For the past 14 years, I had been struggling with the timing on my car, constantly adjusting it by advancing it in the heat of summer and retarding it in the cold of winter. Even when following the recommended settings from a timing light, the engine didn't perform optimally. It lacked power at times and occasionally experienced misfires. However, after VO Motors fixed the timing belt, my car runs like a dream. It starts effortlessly, the misfires are gone, and it now boasts significantly improved power. One aspect that surprised me is how well old Volvos run even with the timing belt off by a notch. Most cars wouldn't even start, but thanks to Volvo's non-interference engine design, it remains functional. This is a testament to the quality and engineering of these vehicles. With VO Motors' expertise, my Volvo is now operating at its full potential. I genuinely couldn't be happier with the service I received from VO Motors. Their attention to detail, technical knowledge, and dedication to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. If you own a Volvo and require expert repairs or maintenance, I wholeheartedly recommend VO Motors. Trust me, you won't find a more reliable and skilled team to take care of your beloved vehicle. Thank you, VO Motors, for your exceptional work and for bringing new life to my Volvo."
"By far the most shady and unhonest business I have ever done work with. I purchased a 1992 volvo 740 turbo wagon from Rich and his workers, and when I went to look at the car they said that it needed some work, mainly that the brake lights didn't work, the oil needed changed and the vacuum lines needed replaced as well as the struts were bad, so I put a down deposit and let them take their time on it. After a week or so, I called to see if they had made any progress, and rich said that they weren't able to get to the struts but it was ready to go, so I went to pick it up. Immediately after leaving the lot, I noticed a major vacuum leak causing the vehicle to not go over 45. I pulled over and called rich and they said it might be a small line that popped off, so I took it to my personal shop and proceeded to find that almost every vacuum line had holes and tears in them, and the boost guage line had a stick shoved in it. After going through and replacing all the vacuum lines even after being told they had been replaced, I went and checked the oil and it was black and low, so very hard to believe it had been changed within the month. I'm not even scratching the surface of the issues that were overlooked by his shop. I'm not sure if Rich was trying to screw me over or if his techs are being dishonest with him, but I will never let them near any of my vehicles or anyone I care about for that matter."
"Richard has been maintaing my Volvos for 20+ years, and taking care of them with a depth of knowledge that only comes from doing something 40 hours a week for that long. They say it takes 10,000 hours to truly master something... well, Rich has clocked well over 40,000 hours on all things Volvo automobile related. Between that and the always fair pricing, it's a pretty powerful combination and you are in safe hands."
