"Avoid at all cost! They do not follow best medicine practice at all and bill for services they did not tell you they would do. They originally told us they would sedate for a procedure for my dog, but when we picked her up, they performed anesthesia! Not only did they not inform us this, but they did not preform proper blood work prior to make sure it was safe! My dog could have died! I filed a complaint, and now they are banning us. It seems a little shady to immediately ban people who question their practice. I work as a pharmacist, and I’ve seen how pharmacies handle complaints - we have the patient in mind, try to fix the issues, and we still keep them as a patient because we are confident that we can still provide good care to them. Also when I picked up my dog, they took me to the back to get her from the cage, and it didn’t seem sanitary. Her cone was covered in filth and blood, and they sent her home in a bloody, stinky bandage! My husband is in veterinarian school at OSU, and he is learning about modern, best practices. He says that they aren’t following some of newer patient care practices like other places in town."

"The care has gone from a 10 to 0 ever since Dr Clark and Dr Hixson retired and sold the business. The new vet techs are too busy socializing to notice when a customer in the lobby. We were completely blown off when we took our dog in for an exam and I had to request for medication to help him recover. We are transferring to a new vet for better care. The owner runs this veterinary office like it's a Walmart. Sad to see such a wonderful place go down hill."

"Alpine has become a business focused on money and not the care of our beloved pets. I used to take my rats there for euthanasia when their time came and the previous doctor whom was always very kind and caring, charged me $10-$20 at MOST to euthanize them. I called and they told me it wasn’t much for a rat euthanasia so I set an appointment. I get to my appointment and wait 20 mins AFTER the original appointment time, while they check in everyone else first. Then they come to tell me that it’s a total of $160. They had automatically added an exam as to charge me more. Then when I asked them they took the charge off and were trying to still charge me $100 for ONE rat. This animal hospital has become unethical and unfortunately it’s is no longer a place of care but a place of business just like every other vet here. Heads up if you are a regular here because I believe it is a new doctor as the previous one has retired ( not 100% sure but I knew someone who used to work there and quit due to some new and unethical practices and said there was a new doctor running alpine). I am deeply saddened as this was the one place I could trust to be a kind and actual caring place for its patients."

"The vet was great, but the vet tech was way too rough with my dog. I attempted to explain how she is much more calm with me around and when she went to have her blood drawn they wouldn't let me go with her. When I went to use the bathroom, I witnessed them strangling my dog with her leash. She then peed all over the floor, which she has NEVER done at the vet. Had I been with her she would have just let it happen. I wont be back because of that experience. But the vet herself was absolutely wonderful. The vet techs there need checked though. Not ok."

"Alpine Animal Hospital is no longer the animal hospital I was used to. I guess because I was used to the previous Veterinary but everything that the new Veterinary did was just about the opposite of what my previous vet , who I liked did things. I may go back if I can get the other vet and maybe I'll feel better about her. But I don't really think I'd go back to this particular vet. Plus it feels different also the previous staff seem to all get along and like each other or they did a really good job of Faking It. Well I was waiting for them to finish with my dog I got the distinct feeling that they were Whispering about somebody in the back and they were arguing about who is going to go back there and tell her whatever it was she needed to know."
