"If I could give 0 stars I would. They replaced all the staff . I’ve been taking my dog here since she was born she is 4, I came back after 6 months to get a wellness check. They tried upselling everything out of pocket. Wouldn’t let me set up a wellness plan because of a collection account with them but still scheduled me an appointment and told me that it wouldn’t be a problem when calling to schedule , I came in and was told they couldn’t set up a wellness plan because of it after coming in for my scheduled appointment I set up over the phone They tried telling me if she was to be seen it would be $180 out of pocket for one semprica trio , heart worm test, and physical exam, all the staff were rude, one even mentioned my dog being timid and scared and I should do more social interaction, she literally LOVED all the old staff ,and the old staff LOVED her she is the sweetest dog. She jumped up on the counter to get a treat wagging her tail …. Not to mention they were practically yelling to everyone in the waiting room and the store I had an account in collections. Very poor experience PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE, I will never return to Banfield pet hospital after hearing the horror stories and personally experiencing it first hand."
"I am told, previous staff veterinarians are no longer there, replaced by all new vets. Also new office staff, as far as I can tell. Our chronically ill dog was regarded with 0 empathy and left to be sick because we were unable to have him given a 2nd, early annual exam and vaccinations, or no prescription refill. After 5 years and a well documented chronic illness, canceling our premium wellness plan and taking our dog somewhere else. Would not trust him in the care of these people. IMO, anyone who openly treats their customers poorly can't be trusted to treat an animal well, especially out of site of their owners. Maybe I misunderstood, but it felt for all the world like upselling was there goal, not healthcare. Never again."
"Friendly folks who genuinely care for animals and know their stuff. The pet plan is a decent deal. It gets very pricey fast though if you just agree to all the extra diagnostics. Two paws up."
"We got two medicines for our cat when we visited their office today. One we may need it, one we may not. They mentioned our cat is not calm enough when they showed up, have some sort of anxiety...a little too nervous. We thought that was just a greeting, we thought it is very common that our cat not feeling comfortable in a strange environment with strangers. Our cat did not bite, did not scratch, did not puff up. We don't think our cat was overreact to anything. We thought our cat was calm enough and doing his best to endured it. However, they gave us 4 does of medicines to use for calm my cat down, said we can use it for future visits.(We won't!) They did not ask if we need it or not, they just assumed my cat should show his belly to them right away. I was surprised when they brought out the medicines to us, I didn't know it was a concern. We did not want to pay for that, but unfortunately we did not refuse it at the right time. We thought that was something our cat may need? We turned right back and tell them we didn't like that, but the front desk said there is nothing they can do because "It's already went in their system" and cannot be correct or return. We do not mind to pay for any medicines in order to let our cat maybe suffer less pain if he really need it. But we also believed too much medicine can be harmful to his body. Our cat is fine, does not need that medicine to calm him down. They do. Be aware of their upselling tricks! They know you care about your pet so much, and sometime you may listen to whatever they said or whatever they assign to your pet. They missed their aim to provide positive experience again! Trying to cancel their ugly insurance now, but it's very difficult. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Giving them 2 Stars only because they used to be good, and we were their customer for over 2 years."
"This location is AMAZING! My pups doctor is literally the best woman that's ever walked this planet. She sits on the floor with him and plays with him during our appointments. Rocky loves going to the vet because of her. The front desk staff are so nice too! With countless issues with the Chad Dr. Location, I'm so happy to make the much longer drive to this Banfield!"
