"my son went in to buy some earrings the other day, when they went to sell them to him they offered a warranty, he politely declined it and they still slipped in the charge anyway. We live 92 miles away from this store so I tried to call and talk with the manager about it and guess what I got the same sales person (Judy) on the phone, she would not tell me when he worked and if I had a complaint call the cooperate office. Then hung up on me. if I were in charge there she would cease to be employed. What a piece of work she is. I will never go back here especially if she is working."

"DO NOT BRING YOUR EXPENSIVE WATCH HERE! The women working there were very nice and they explained though they didn't have a watch specialist anymore, they could still change the batteries. They did, however the casing on the back was jammed half open half closed. I didn't see it until the next morning when I went to put it on. I brought it back and a different guy not only tried to tell me it's supposed to be like this, but he caught the rubber ring in the casing when trying to reclose it... making it worse! I'm livid. A $700 watch and it's scratched and the o-ring will most likely need to be replaced due to their negligence. If they can't do watches they should SAY they can't...not try anyway and damage my watch. I will NOT be going to them for jewelry cleaning or batteries again."

"After losing our baby, my boyfriend wanted to get me the engagement ring of my dreams. They didn’t tell us until last minute that they didn’t have the emeralds in the size we needed. They didn’t communicate and at no point seemed to even care about any of it. “Sorry” or “how can we fix this” never once was uttered. Every day it was “oh we will call you tomorrow”. A diamond is a major investment and their level of unprofessionalism broke my heart. The engagement was supposed to be a surprise for my birthday and I instead now 1. Know about it 2. Have spent my birthday week angry and sobbing. Literally never want to step foot back in that store again."

"Terrible customer service and poor quality jewelry at a high cost! I attempted to make a return on a cheaply made piece of jewelry, and was outright ignored by the associates for several minutes when I got there. When they finally did get to me, what should have taken five minutes for a simple return turned into a long ordeal and associates working had no idea what they were doing. They each talked down to me throughout the encounter and were extremely unprofessional. Even with the rip off of a warranty they offer, I wouldn't waste your time or money here."

"I had the pleasure of working with Dawn O'Connor at this Fred Meyer location. I was looking for a ring to replace my old wedding band. I wanted something very specific, but I went in about 5 times because I needed help narrowing down what it was that I really wanted. Dawn was so understanding and fun to work with. She was even sweet to my 3 very young children which I had on some of my visits. I was interested in a promise ring but wanted some "Pink Champagne" Diamonds. She had them ordered and took so much time with me as I looked over them trying to decide. I was so glad she did this because it made me realize that it wouldn't look exactly the same was as I thought it would in my mind. She allowed me to take photos of the ring & of the extra diamonds & I then used photoshop at home to get close to real life image of what the ring would look like. Anyway, I had pictured the centered diamonds being bigger than they were, but in reality they were a smaller size surrounded by smaller diamonds (Yeah, I'm not a jeweler. :-P) See and she was still ever so sweet and kind with me ... the untrained eye ... but ever so picky customer. It made me want to buy the ring even though I decided against it just because my experience with her was so pleasant. I decided not to buy a replacement band at this time since the size of diamond I want just cost too much (regardless of where I go) for me to want to spend (I'm pretty frugal). However, I plan to go back whenever I do want some nice cosmetic jewelry, and I hope I get Dawn or anyone else who is as kind, patient and funny as her. It's great to laugh when shopping.
