"My daughter really loves going here for dance. The team of teachers are amazing and kind and the facility is lovely."
"Professional staff and management. Dedicated teachers and well-rounded dancers. Staff care about the kids and building skills that are more than just dance technique."
"If you’re looking for a professional, dedicated, loving and talented group of instructors and owners; this studio is your home! We’ve been with this studio for 4 years and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. The women who own, teach and manage this studio are moms themselves so they understand the intricacies of dance life! I’ve been impressed with their commitment to family values, team work and creating a loving dance community amongst the dancers within the studio. I highly recommend Fired Up!"
"TL&DR: Instructors who are dedicated to dance and teach it with passion, skill and enthusiasm. Professional training and results. My daughter is on her third year of dance at Fired-Up Dance Academy and we're so happy we chose this as her dance home those three years ago. This is a wonderful professional studio with instructors who care about the art of dance as well as the spirit and camaraderie of the students. Even with dozens of different dancers attending this studio, the owner knows every one by name and makes them feel special and valued. The team of instructors is dedicated to dance and their passion is obvious. I can't say enough wonderful things about Miss Carene and her three daughters who are the studio's top instructors/choreographers. The school's older students are professional and highly skilled. It is clear that technique and proper training are important to the studio. The studio's students and choreographers are often the recipients of high-level awards at competition (not just participation awards). The overall tone of the studio is serious about results and commitment to dance as an art. This is not the dance class at the local Parks & Rec. This is a studio that competes and showcases their talent. Minor but noteworthy - this is not a studio that will dress your eight-year-old in hot pants and a bikini top. While all students wear makeup for performances, as the stage requires such things for visibility, it's clear that the studio prefers to dress the students in modest and age-appropriate ways. It's minor but having seen some of the costumes from other dance studios at competition it's something that I really appreciate. I really don't want my daughter looking like a tiny hooker and I never worry that will happen at Fired-Up. It's worth noting that this studio is run by dedicated artists and not necessarily administrators. Miss Carene does a great job though juggling a lot of plates at once with a huge pantheon of students and multiple competitions, recitals and performances. If you can smile and accept the results that will come from your patience and good humor, your child will have an absolutely amazing training experience at Fired-Up, and hopefully make dance friends for life. We intend to stay here for as long as dance holds my daughter's interest, which currently has no foreseeable expiration."
"My daughter called requesting info about a dance class; was promised a call back with info. Never got a call. We both went into the studio several months later and explained what happened. Received profuse apologies and were told they'd advise the director and promised a callback after their winter performance of The Nutcracker. We totally understood that that was a busy time but figured we would surely hear from them. It's been about about a year in total now and no call. This is bad business- plain and simple. I'll take my business, and money, elsewhere."
