"I’ve gone here for 3 years and it all started out fine. I felt listened to and understood by the doctors, for sure. However, this past year has been an anxiety-ridden nightmare. It’s mainly their policies that aren’t equitable and instead “equal”. We must understand that patient health cannot adhere to strange policies that “fit all”, but instead fit the patient. Medication should never be rationed. My daughter and I cannot get scripts filled without mandatory “visits” about the scripts. Every single refill. The nurses are very rude. Scripts we have been on for years prior to even coming to Bridgeport. I called to say I had an oral allergic reaction and they wouldn’t even listen to seeing me because they were so concerned about my $30 balance. Even after stating I would pay it, the nurse said “well again, if you don’t then we won’t see you” I was also told that I was marked as an inactive patient over the $30 bill—marked inactive because of $30. I had to see another physician at a different office to get the epi pen I needed. Which I am so grateful for having a separate doctor office that does not have these policies and I now have an epi pen. Again, absolute nightmare for my daughter and I to get our prescriptions filled. It’s like every month they are asking for us to “come in” and be seen so they can agree to fill the same scripts we’ve been on for 5-6 years. It’s very weird, but also creates more anxiety and doctor/patient trauma that I thought was not the case here. Sadly it is. If you have medications that cannot handle delays, I’d say maybe look else where. Also never have a balance with them. Not even tiny one."
"This place is completely unresponsive. I set up a new patient appointment and got a text saying I needed to call to confirm my appointment. I called and left messages multiple times and no one ever answered or called back so the appointment didn't happen. My wife did get in to a see a doctor, and was referred for physical therapy. The PT referred her back to the doctor after a couple of months for some tests and the doctor never followed up. My wife has called the clinical at least 10 times over the past month and left messages and has yet to hear back from her doctor. She even emailed random providers at the clinic to see if they could help get her in touch with her doctor and no one responded."
"I would give 1 star, but I loved my doctor here, she was probably one of the best doctors I had. However the receptionists are the reason I no longer go there. I had to go in for skin a biopsy to make sure I didn't have skin cancer. I asked the receptionist on several different occasions if I had any bills I had to pay for my appointment, they said no my insurance covered or 100% (cool my insurance even confirmed this), so I went on my merry way. A year later I get a process sever at my door serving me papers for a medical bill I was unaware I had. Ok weird, I call in and find out they processed my insurance incorrectly and my skin biopsy was billed as cosmetic. I get a payment plan set up and call in to switch my prescription to a new pharmacy, the receptionist said I needed to make an appointment with them before the switch, so I ask to make an appointment. The receptionist said I can't make an appointment until I finish paying off the bill. Ok cool, it's gonna take a bit to pay this off, so I asked to keep my normal pharmacy for now. They cancelled my prescriptions and never switch it over. They now refuse to send it to my pharmacy until I pay off the bill and make an appointment. How is this legal? I need my meds, so now I'm paying the website For Her s$160 every 3 months, just so I can have my meds while I look for a new doc."
"The quality of this place has really gone downhill over the past few years. The employees at the front desk are snarky, dismissive, and rude. Also, they will charge you if you miss your appointment or do a late cancellation, but if the doctor can’t see you, they will simply cancel your appointment the day of and just expect you to deal with it. In other words, if you are unable to make your appointment, you have to pay a fee, but if the doctor can’t make your appointment, that’s too bad for you. They will just cancel your appointment and tell you that you have to wait more than two weeks for his next available appointment. It doesn’t matter if you’ve already taken time off work for your scheduled appointment and rearranged your entire schedule to avoid the late cancellation fee. If the doctor can’t see you, they will just cancel your appointment a few hours before your scheduled appointment time with no apology whatsoever, and you just have to accept it. That is what this place is like now: “Rules for thee but not for me.”"
"Extremely unprofessional doctor’s office. I started coming here in 2020 and had no problems at first. After having to deal with their billing department and doctor’s I can’t say I recommend. I went in for some testing to be done, never received a call, scheduled a follow up to see why, and when I returned to the office it turns out one of their medical assistants had lost my labs and I could here my provider and her other assistants laughing about it. Then, the doctor proceeds to tell me to make sure they don’t charge me for that service. They end up charging me anyways, send me to collections, and the collections agency tried to take me to small claims court over a $200 bill. Seems this doctor’s office is more worried about money than quality care."
