"I have been dealing with a case of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and when I came to Oregon I needed an oncologist who was on the clinical trial I was on. I was provided with Dr. Sharman's name. Then I discovered that he was not only on the trial but had helped lead it and was one of the best people in the country for that treatment! He has good office manners as they say, and helps me relax when talking about my disease and options. His office is not particularly close by, being 2 hours away, but I would not switch at this point. You sometimes have to ask to get additional information which is understandable there are always patients in more need, but he gives me lots of information and many times I'd take paper to write on so I could retain everything. The office is very fast too, easy in - out. I had been going to MD Anderson in Houston Texas and that place is so busy and huge it would take all day to do labs, imaging, etc. I love not having to deal with all that. Staff are friendly and keep things as upbeat as possible."
