"Took a friend to the ER department for a nasty cut to her thumb. She was told by the front desk that her wait time may be two hours. She went from triage to patient registration back to a room and discharged in an hour. From what my friend told me the staff are extremely friendly and doesn't understand why people can be so rude to nice staff"
"Dr. signed off on a release on a young autistic teenager who tried to commit suicide, and who has been severely self harming. The attempt was violent and the situation has been escalating. Patient has been self harming at school. Dr. was informed of this and talked with patient for about 5 minutes. No doctor qualified in mental health or autism assessed the child. Regardless, even Dr. Khan was qualified to assess an autistic child, 5 minutes wouldn't be close to enough time. Makes me wonder if the doctor even read the history of the patient. Who has needed inpatient before for similar incidents. Child's mom is a single mother and can't afford to put the child into inpatient without an involuntary hold. Patient was overlooked and her actions not taken seriously due to her age and autism diagnosis."
"Delivered my son here 13 years ago. I had an adoption set up. After 2 9r 3 days of labor and MANY hours of pushing the OB was fed up and asked me (to get me to agree to a c section), "would you rather just kill your baby than have him be adopted??" Then when I started screaming while she was cutting me open, because NEITHER of the epidurals worked she was annoyed with me, didn't warn me at all, put the mask on me and I was asleep. The social worker who was supposed to be protecting me, wouldn't let me see my baby without the adoptive parents present. This place is a handmaids tale, modern warfare version. 0 stars. Wouldn't go back if I had a whole tree sticking out of my eye. Edit to add. They will not release my own files to me. They said they do not belong to me anymore because my son was adopted. Not my labor files, not my prenatal appointments, NOTHING. Keep in mind I am NOT asking for my sons files in any way."
"The nurses ,and doctors at Riverbend Peace health, Medical Center have helped me so much in the last three years. I have been there several times because of my breathing ,and other times for odds and ends type, medical concerns. They are just wonderful. The nurses are totally helpful ,and awesome. They work so hard to make sure you’re comfortable, even through the time when I was in there where we couldn’t have visitors. They tried to make me feel at home. The doctors are great. They saved my life once, I am forever in all their debt . GOD BLESS THEM."
