"Dr Zinke’s reviews were great so I was optimistic. First issue was how late he was. I believe it was about 45 mins late because he was eating lunch. I get they need to eat, but don’t schedule an appt that can’t be kept. I did not feel heard in my appt.I was interrupted so many times that I lost count. I am NOT interested in standard of care treatment and would prefer IPT or low dose chemo. I was not considering radiation or surgery. Concurrently, I would continue my naturopathic treatments. Dr Zinke offered one path and that was it. He said he was unwilling to have dialogue about anything else. Said he would not “allow” me to do vitamin C IV treatments alongside chemo. I just feel he has forgotten that he doesn’t control my body or my treatment. He works for the patient. I just wish medical oncologists (all doctors, really) will be more progressive with treatment options and be a lifelong learner."
