"Amazing Facility with caring staff. Highly Recommended"
"I took my sons out of ABA therapy for approximately 4 years before deciding to try it again. My thought is that not all therapists or clinics are the same. Just as one might change doctors, one can change clinics. The atmosphere at Skipping Stones is the best that I have seen. It is wide open, bright, and fun. There are tons of activities for the children to do, but the therapists will assist with non-preferred activities, such as homework. I have seen progress with toileting, reduced SIB, waving "hello," and attempts at using a communication device. This is the first time I have seen actual progress in several years. However, I homeschool and allow an intensive 40 hours per week. The hours traveling to and from can be exhausting, but my husband and I look at the long-term, not the convenience. I can work with the BCBAs pretty much all day long. They are professional, kind, and ultra flexible. My challenge remains with my personal preferences of employees. I believe they are all kind and do their best every day, but they are human and make mistakes. With that, they have apologized when I voiced my discomfort. When my son was physically trapped in his seatbelt, they offered both comfort and support. Verify insurance coverage yourself. Three improvements I would like to see are age-appropriate activities encouraged, being social but not nosy, and a balance in the male/female employee ratio. Most people on the spectrum are males and should have males to model after. In this climate, I am concerned about confusion. Overall, I recommend Skipping Stones Behavioral Learning Center. They are learning and growing and truly trying."
"ABA therapy at Skipping Stones helped my child work on communication skills, potty training and some aggressive behaviors. I found parent training especially beneficial in establishing consistency at home. I commend the knowledgeable caring staff. Grateful we found you, Thank you!"
"We used their services for approximately 1 month. As parents of special needs children know, there is a pronounced increase of stress for families struggling to find the best help for their little ones. Our experience with this company only added more stress and anxiety for our family. Our decision to stop services after many hurtles (in just 1 month) was when we came with our little guy for a session and they had forgotten to add him to the schedule, and we had to take him home. The BCBA, the therapist team, the owner - no one reached out and apologized for this. It was a bad end to a bad relationship with this company. Very unfortunate experience considering the industry they are in to care for these children. I also want to add that it seems a bit unethical (in my opinion) for one of the 5 star ratings to be posted by an employee of Skipping Stones."
"They provide excellent ABA Services. Currently, they do not have a wait list."
