"I’m sure the individual therapists are kind people doing their best, but the private equity firm running this show is a nightmare, steer clear! They WILL charge you for the sessions that THEY call to cancel and reschedule, multiple times in a row. The scheduling and billing is conveniently a large out-of-state call center somewhere and they don’t seem to communicate with the actual therapists doing the work. But honestly I don’t think the billing issues are accidental; the Better Business Bureau is investigating Lifestance for a “pattern of complaints related to billing” (Google “Lifestance Health; Vulnerable mental health patients burdened with unwarranted medical debt from company’s billing practices, errors, and high fees” )"

"I have never been treated as poorly as I was by the staff at LifeStance. From the receptionist to the prescriber, Kristi Steinbacher, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Kristi Stinebacher was more than awful to me. She threw me out of her office when I disagreed with her about my reaction to medications. She then charged me with a over $1,000 extra fee for a 3 minute phone call. This company sucks and is in it for the money not for the care of peoples mental health."
