Reviews
"My recent experience with Oregon Medical Group Chase Garden Center was extremely disappointing and disheartening. I approached the clinic as an existing patient seeking support for a legal name change in preparation for a Japan trip, a process that should have been handled with empathy and professionalism but was met with neglect. All they were asked to do was update an pre-existing prescription in order to match my new legal name on my government-issued IDs and provide a paper copy of the prescriptions to present to the appropriate Japanese ministry as supporting documentation so that I could bring more than thirty days' supply of my medication with me for my three month stay. Unfortunately, the clinic failed to address the legal issues surrounding my situation, leaving me feeling unsupported and disempowered in my self-identification. This experience was more than a mere hiccup; it was a distressing blow to someone seeking understanding and cooperation during a vulnerable time and despite trying with them repeatedly for over a week, they couldn't comply with the court. The delay interrupted planned international travel, causing booking and reservation concerns that fell outside what travel insurance covers. I want to emphasize that for transgender individuals like myself, the lack of proper support in navigating legal changes can have significant consequences, such as papers required for international travel. It is essential for healthcare providers to be both sensitive and responsive to the unique challenges faced by their transgender patients. This review serves as a warning to other individuals who may be seeking support from Oregon Medical Group Chase Garden Center. The clinic's failure to address legal concerns reasonably during a crucial time should be considered seriously."
"I understand there's a shortage of Dr.'s in most places and in many specialties, but there was a time with OMG I was able to see my PCP and have actual conversations about my care and health. OMG began restructuring with heavy use of NP's and PA's some years ago. Not an issue for most basic care needs, but makes getting care for more complicated matters tricky and creates a choppy lineage of care since you rarely see the same provider from visit to visit. The've also been through multiple check-in and chart systems over the past few years and none of them have worked super well or expedited processes on the patient side. There are some great care providers (nurses, Dr's, techs, PA's, NP's, etc.) at OMG, but OMG as a package is a bit of a mess."
"Dr David Witkin the best doctor I’ve seen..He’s so patient and careful.."
"I'm only posting this because OMG doesn't have a patient concern/complaint officer. This place is an absolute goat-rope."
