"Dr. Heffner was my OB for my second pregnancy. The pregnancy was very difficult with hyperemesis gravidarum and some other issues, and she was nothing but supportive, empathetic, and advocated for me to get the time off work I needed due to illness. She was knowledgeable and listened to my questions and concerns, and when the time came for a c-section delivery I was comforted to have her familiar face in the OR. I won’t go to anyone else if I don’t have to!"

"Without going into to much personal details, I would just like to say I had a horrible experience with this group. Dr.Stevens H Samawi is an arrogant bully. Joyce Heffner is pleasant but to busy to stay on top of all her patients and when having a baby at Salem hospital you never know who will be on call to deliver your baby. They take on so many patients it’s very easy for things to slip through their fingers when something is wrong. When having your first baby, you must relay on the professional knowledge of these doctors to do there best to keep you and your baby safe and healthy. I would not recommend them to anyone."
