"Most unreliable form of public transportation in PDX. Some trains never come, making you miss your bus entirely and have to walk 2 mi home in the rain. Or they change routes during inclement weather without posting the changes on their websites, stranding you in the snow in downtown. Not helpful customer service."
"Trimet doesn't know what they're doing. They need security on trains in the late PM and early AM, but the only time you see any personnel board the train is in the middle of the day, to randomly check fares and hassle some people who aren't bothering anyone. Do they even know what their trains are like after dark? Do they care?"
"Temperatures in MAX are so cold in my morning commute, an operator told me the lower floor heaters are not used to heat max to deter homeless people from seeking shelter ( as inhumane as it may be, the ratio between riders and homeless people is 1 percent) so why must people commuting to work have to be punished."
"this is the most garbage train service I've ever seen… on the way to work and the train suddenly reroutes, changes color and starts moving backwards… There are no signs anywhere on the train that this might happen. Driver should get out of the cozy little cab and manually let the riders know."
"Maybe try and care a bit more about the people riding your Max trains. Busses are great, delays are expected. But when a train is 5-10 minutes ahead of schedule, maybe wait at the stop until the scheduled time so that people trying to get where they need to go and arrive by the scheduled time aren't screwed over. I shouldn't have to get to the train stop 20 minutes beforehand. Absolutely insane."
