Don't Give Up Guitar

"2014 I was having anxiety and performance issues, and Tim really encouraged me and cut right through the problem. He knew exactly how to handle it without making me feel inferior and giving me the confidence to overcome it. Tim is very casual and at the same time professional bringing you to a place of relaxation and enjoying the journey, not just the destination. I have been playing for many years but still learning the basics that I never learned, and although it could be frustrating to go back, he has made it rewarding and simple. 11/17/2019 updated I came to Tim knowing I am called to worship God. I used to play guitar but quit several times and wanted to play differently than before. So the goal was to take lessons and be ready for my season. So for closer to 2 years now I am playing live for my church, usually at least 400 to 500 people. Playing lead guitar and I never played lead until they asked me to. What I am saying is from all of this anxiety Tim was the breaking point to being able to even perform and I have had amazing moments and tough moments, but the point is now I can handle any situation and I am confident in my abilities and knowledge. Tim was an encouraging voice when I could hardly even play my guitar, he encouraged me and made me learn songs I would of never touched, they all helped me tremendously today. God bless you Tim, and thanks for being a friend as well as a mentor to me. You are very patient and kind, and I would reccomend you to everyone. This is even online, I live in Virginia, so I imagine in Oregan it's even better! I am actually starting to teach a woman to play guitar, just the basics, but still, also a goal that Tim helped me accomplish without even knowing it probably. He helped me meet every goal and exceeded what I came to accomplish."
