"Professional, yet down to Earth. Very efficient, and fast service. Helpful with all our needs. Answered all our questions in an easy-to-understand manner."
"I have worked with Janice Hatton since 1995. Flat out, the best estate attorney in town. She is all about absolute perfection."
"We worked with Lance to work up a legal sale of our business. It started out ok and appeared to finish fine but the red flags during the process came to fruition after a few months. Lance would be impatient when the contract would need changes due to Covid effects on our buyer, requiring us to help the buyer succeed, while ensuring we were protected in the contract verbiage. He would complain in an unprofessional, non-problem solving way, dragging the phone calls out longer. We sensed he was purposely running up the time to be able to charge more, with unhelpful venting. We would constantly have to reiterate several important things for him to include. We finally got the business sold and contracts signed. Our bill from Lance was sizable and even though we felt he was messy and unprofessional we would pay it without questioning it. Due to Covid we did delay, but we paid it within a couple months. Six months later when the buyer was defaulting on payments, we reached out to Lance to ask where & how he had set up the “late fees” mentioned in the contract…even just the percentage. He flatly informed us he was sorry, but we would need to seek another lawyer and he did not even answer the question that pertained to his responsibility. We have a new lawyer that is much more professional and very sharp. He was blown away that Lance never arranged any legal recourse for us to collect late fees. He quickly saw other crucial areas that Lance had left us defenseless. We are reasonable, professional people who have been in business for over 30 years. This review is not inflated. We had to pay thousands to clean up his loose ends. We would never recommend his services and felt compelled to leave this review to help others."
"total rip off, I had an attorney Shawn Walker take my case and told me he had a lot of experience in probate and it would take around $3000 to get this will accepted. He wrote one executor of estate objection and one modification to it. He meet with me twice for less than 2 hours and 3 phone calls. He then went to court one day where nothing happened because the other attorney postponed the court case, he then said he didn't have the experience for this and wanted to bring on other attorneys in his firm. He even recommended I find another attorney somewhere else because his firm is expensive and that he is on Salary and gets paid weather he does work or not . He gave me a bill of $5300 then said I have to have him to continue in court and everyone else is to busy to take this case. He then wanted a $7000 retainer when he first said it could come out of the estate, Because he said I would have a hard time finding another attorney because of the short time period I agreed to pay the retainer if he promised to meet me with his new attorney at his firm first before he did any work. So I could provide all of the evidence so they could properly proceed. I signed the fee agreement on Friday Feb 7th and asked him to not do any work until we meet. on Monday 3 days later over a weekend I told him it was to expensive I have plenty of evidence and don't feel I even need representation, and would like the retainer back. Now he emailed that he is only refunding 4146, how could he spend $2854 when agreed if he wouldn't use that money until we meet which we didn't. I felt from the beginning that this guy is a crook now I know. I will be forwarding this to all avenues of better business until they refund the retainer he agreed not to use until we meet."
"The front office staff was very helpful. Great overall office moral. I worked with Julian Mars directly, he was very nice, respectful, and his work was very detailed. I would recommend this firm to anyone who desires a reputable attorney to handle their legal matters."
