"To the regional manager: I accidentally left behind my prescription glasses inside a styling tray when trying on sunglasses the evening of 3/29. I called the morning of 3/30 spoke with a female on the phone explaining the situation. Few seconds into the call the employee states my glasses are most definitely not there. I only found this odd because anyone knows it takes more than a few seconds to look around a store full of sunglasses to find a pair of prescription ones. I said okay then can I please come by and take a look? She said "Why? They aren't here, they would be placed under our store counter if they were..." (don't know what that means). At this point I was getting the feeling she really just didn't look and didn't care based on the response and tone. I said okay bye and hung up. After dwelling over my possible loss, I decided to drive to the mall and arrived about 20-30 minutes after the phone call. When I walked in to the store I went up to counter and they were sitting right on top! I literally just grabbed them and got the heck out of there. The regional manager should investigate this incident and see why the employee didn't call me back once she located them..... It was very odd and made me feel like something sketchy was going on. The store has camera's so I'd be interested to know why this happened. No one else was in the store either they had just opened, so a quick phone call wasn't impossible and she never did offer to take down my information. If the manager has any questions please respond back with a phone number and email. I will forward this to the contacts I found online as well."
"The gal with the headscarf was the most disinterested, rude employee I've encountered in a long time. Never greeted me, was impossible to get help from, and basically just sleepwalked through any semblance of customer service that I practically wanted to just ring myself in. I would have left if I didn't need my item for a gift. She was terrible, and I'm sad to think any of my sales dollars go to her bonus, it commission. Abysmal."
"The hours they have in the website is incorrect! They close whenever they want to I don’t know if it was a staffing issue but I tried to get off to make it there by 6pm but boy there was a sign that they close on a Saturday at 2:30! I ordered my sunglasses online and had it ship at the store, big mistake ! They should update the times online or shut the store completely or make it by appointment only if they are going to be close so early and random times !"
"Why do you have your sales guy in there dressed like a car salesman? Everyone else in the mall is styled out, but the poor guy at the sun glass hut i wearing a black dress shirt and a different shade of black pants. You're selling sunglasses and the word "hut" is in the name of your store, get over yourselves and the let the poor guy dress in a way that's not awkward and uncomfortable. I personally didn't even want to go in the store when I saw that clown suit."
"This will be the LAST time I shop here and that says a lot because I usually come here for my Christmas gifts. Ellie was working and first opens up the conversation with an inappropriate encounter that she had with someone, I was thrown off but I understood the venting and continued with my browsing. I selected the glasses I wanted and took them up to her to get rung up. She wanted to give me a “discount” which I thought was going to be 25% off or whatever since the last couple of times I’ve purchased glasses from here they broke (user error, nothing to do with the quality) so I was grateful that she wanted to provide me that. But when I realized she was trying to take off an amount she felt like I didn’t need to pay, and not actually give me a discount I was floored. I have money. I do very well for myself. I don’t need hand outs. I don’t need someone to also say “oh well you probably don’t have enough to cover the whole amount” no. You didn’t actually give me a proper, store discount. You took off an amount that you thought was okay and that doesn’t fly with me. I’ll be looking somewhere else in the future. And the box I got has black marker scratched all over it to cover the barcode, so now I have to find a nice box to fit the glasses in. Never again. Wow. Just wow."
