"I had them work on several projects for me I found them to be very professional did outstanding work with very good Communications."
"I had a conversation with the owner about a cut down and threading of a barrel. Have him the details. He said it would take 1-2 months. After 2+ months I called to see the status, and he said he didn't want to do it because he doesn't like to do metric threads. (Which we talked about in advance.) He sent the barrel back. Wasted my time and shipping."
"Kudos to Wayne - he installed two custom thumbhole composite stocks and muzzle brakes on a Tikka 270 and 300 WM. Both turned out super and have been awesome to shoot. Thanks Wayne for the fine workmanship. I’m planning to bring a 7mm-08 in for the works as well, see you soon :)"
"I sent this man two revolvers for some finish work. Once he received the guns i get a phone call that he couldn't do the work because the guns are nickle plated. I had to tell this so called gunsmith that they were not nickle that they were actually high gloss stainless steel. He tells me he probably cant match the finish on the gun if he was to get some pitting out but that he could try. We settle on him calling Ruger instead and seeing if they can do the work for me. About a week later i call for an update because i hadnt heard anything yet and he tells me that he hadnt touched them at all because hes been out hunting which was fine. I then asked him to send me back the firearms which he does. Once i get the gun i look them over and compare them to before pictures i had taken before i sent them to him initially. Low and behold i find grind marks on the trigger guard of one of the guns and new scratched on the barrel. I called him back and wanted to know why there was grind marks on the gun and why there are new scratches on the barrel informing him that i had taken before photos as well because again, he stated he did not touch the guns. Admittedly i probably did not come off as too pleased in the message i left. On the 15th i received a voicemail saying he got my message and that he did not appreciate it. He said he was not sure what i was trying to pull and that the only thing he did was grind on the trigger guard and that i could polish it out if i wanted to. at the end of the message he said "dont effing call me back". not taking kindly to being cursed at or being accused of trying to scam him as i never asked for money or anything other than an explanation i called him back. the first words out of his mouth were "i thought i told you not to effing call me". He then proceeded to again tell me he did not know what kind of scam i was trying to pull. i lost it at this point and began to treat him with the same professionalism he had shown me. Admittedly i cursed him out and told him i wasnt trying "pull" anything and that i wanted to know why he had ground on the gun if he told me he didnt touch it. I sent more choice words his way told him he would never get my business again and that i was going to tell my family not to give him business either and hung up. As i stated i just wanted an explanation, nothing else! I lost my cool as soon as i was cursed at as i may have not sounded happy in the first message i sent but i didnt curse or anything. I would NEVER recommend this so called gunsmith to anyone and caution anyone else in the pendleton area who's thinking of using him. He conducted himself in highly unprofessional manner. If he wants to dispute this i saved the voicemail of him cursing at me, id be happy to share."
"I ordered a custom stock for my Kimber Hunter. The Kimber Hunter has a non-typical stock and I was worried about the quality I would get in a custom stock. My concerns were unwarranted. The stock I got from the folks at Oregunsmithing has outstanding quality. I'm very happy."
