"They "opened" my new account about a week ago. Just yesterday, after I tried calling the branch several times with no answer or call back, I wasted money/resources. I was treated like a criminal the moment I walked in. No eye contact, no smiles, just cold and brooding presence from all the floor staff. I deposited a 200 personal check from a close family member. Now, I am overdrawn by 20 dollars. They REFUSED to tell me why and did nothing to resolve the matter. By the time I came right back with more money, they went ahead and closed my account. Instead of listening to what I had to say or taking my US $20 bill (cash) to bring up my balance to zero, they glared at their Dell screen and refused to help. Misled and scammed. Salem, Oregon is a pit - we all know. Message received."
"Wow with no prompts on her computer screen just “her gut feeling’s/ personal feelings” .. she calls the family verify check . I have had same check written out to me for 7 years ! Her words “ it could be fraudulent ! I am in the your bank system gave her my social and license . Jill Long needs more training sorry I didn’t look the part today for you .. I will wear my Sunday best next time ."
"I had a problem with my previous bank and a transfer in to a new US Bank account. I came into this location and was very impressed at the level of care and help that I received. It took several days and the bank manager working with other departments, even escalating it up to the head of US Bank in Oregon! Jill was especially helpful. At one point she was covering the teller desk as well as doing her main job, and helping me on top of all of that. This will definitely be my main branch for US Bank."
"This bank is always only having ONE TELLER every time I come despite being in the big size building. They never bother to add more teller to speed things up."
"This week the customer service has been unpleasant. I got a line of credit for my account, which was placed on my husbands account even though he had not signed for it. When I went to the bank yesterday to see about getting it placed on the correct account I was told the credit was account specific and could not be moved to my account (you know, the one that actually applied for the credit). She did offer to take the information and have a banker call me yesterday, which I agreed to. I had asked to be called before 1 and there was nothing. No call at all. I called the 800 number today and discovered the application had been placed in but no word on approval. So I called the 302 State St bank to speak with a person to see if there was any problem. This was at 9:35 am. I get a recording that said they could not talk to customers. So I then drove all the way to the bank wasting time and gas, feeling very ignored. I was told by the teller to sit down and they would get the manager to address my concerns. 15 minutes later I am still sitting there. As I left it was mentioned she was with another customer. I already felt like I was being ignored. Why would you have me sitting without letting me know that she was with another customer and not off having a coffee break? I do not understand the treatment and I have complained to corporate headquarters. Had they just kept me informed along the way with what was going on there would have been no problem. Why do banks feel so entitled to be rude?"
