Colony Park Apartments

"I’ve lived here for 2 years and it’s been one of the best apartments I’ve ever lived in! Management is super lenient and you can tell the manager (Tammy) truly cares about the community and happiness of the residents. Parking is easy and straightforward and you don’t have to pay a fee for it! The balconies are super spacious. Taking off a star because the laundry machines are very old and definitely need to be replaced and, in my unit at least, we run out of hot water super fast. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear everything in the units around you. Maintenance has a quick turnaround time, even an after hours maintenance request. The natural light in these apartments is just beautiful. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking."

"This is was my first apartment after moving out of the dorms of the local college here (PSU) and I could not have asked for a better place. Tammy, the landlord, was absolutely amazing. Contacting her was easy and she always responded quickly and did her best so resolve any issues we had. She would frequently send out mass emails to all the tenants with news about the apartment and any changes that could be happening in the future. I was once annoyed about some of the tenants leaving their clothes in the washing machine/dryer for long periods of time. After that conversation she sent out a mass email to everyone reminding them to get their clothes as soon as they're done. Tammy for sure gets an A+ Another great thing about the apartment is the location. I worked downtown by pioneer place and it was easy getting to work. Getting to downtown took 15 minutes at the most. It's also close to Beaverton where you can find a lot of things to do. The location is also pretty secluded and quiet. It's outside the city so you don't have to deal with the negatives that come with it but you also live really close for when ever you do have to venture in that direction. In summary I would definitely move here again. The only reason we moved out was so we could move in with some friends and we needed a bigger place. The landlord is amazing, its a great location, the apartments are spacious, and it's close to a lot of supermarkets so you don't have to go far. By the way the fastest internet you can get at this place is Xfinity (at the time of writing this)."

"Tammy is a warm, helpful, and responsible manager! She helps us to feel right at home! The maintenance specialist Raul does exceptional repair work! His attention to detail when fixing the grout, tile, and bathroom fixtures was simply outstanding and done in a timely manner. We love living at Colony Park."

"I don’t often do these sort of reviews but I felt like this one was a must. I have had family that I visit/take care of on a daily basis living at the property for over 20 years now and I can say that current management is the best that it has ever been in that time frame. Tammy Schneider is the most communicative, responsive, and proactive property manager I have seen. She responds and addresses maintenance requests and any policy changes or things of that nature extremely quickly, communicates the plan going forward, and is very kind and personable in doing so. I highly recommend living here due to the competence and management alone, not to mention the solid property features, such as ample parking and space in the apartments themselves. Everyone in the community is quiet and friendly. Raul who works maintenance is a gem as well. Well run and well done, shout out to Tammy and Raul for all the great work they do!"

"I recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a 2+ bedroom in the Portland area. It is super spacious, flooded with natural light, white walls/wood flooring, a large balcony, plenty of cabinet and closet space. We had a King size bed in our bedroom, and still tons of space. Honestly, it's a huge apartment for two people. It is also a very quiet complex, all throughout the day and night. Our landlord, Tammy, was ALWAYS friendly and had great communication. She is gracious, understanding, and flexible. Any maintenance issue was taken care of very quickly, and always done well. The price for a 1000+ sq ft apartment can not be beaten. It's just a quick 10 min zip up to downtown Portland, only a few minutes from New Seasons + Fred Meyer, as well as a fantastic bakery, Baker + Spice. This was my husband and I's first home together after getting married and we would 10/10 recommend it to all of our friends."
