Reviews of Camp 18 Logging Museum
"We've driven past this restaurant for years, but only recently did my husband and I finally stop. We were on the way home from our 30th wedding anniversary getaway, so we thought it would be fun to check it out. He really enjoyed seeing the old logging camp equipment up close. I loved the old building constructed of massive logs and filled with antique furniture and stained glass lamps. The meal was excellent and the wait staff very attentive. It was a really fun experience and we will likely stop in again."
"What a touching memorial. I did not expect to get a Lil misty eyed looking over photos of loggers I've known. What a great display. Some really cool old pics of some amazing old time loggers and some of the newer loggers as well. Real work items that they personally used. The equipment was fascinating. A Lil time capsule of logging history. The museum is free."
"What an great find to pause at when zipping back and forth to the coast. It is an honor to celebrate what American ingenuity has accomplished. Good for the family to stretch their legs. Oh and while you are there, stop in the restaurant for the best Marion berry cobbler!"
"Wonderful place for the whole family to enjoy. Easy walking paths and wonderful exhibits. Be sure to stop on your way to the coast."
"The museum encircles the Camp 18 restaurant. After eating, take a little walk around the area. There are some great examples of amazing machines and pieces of the past scattered throughout. Don't miss the converted caboose bathroom."
