"Seaside is a family friendly spot that I highly recommend. It has several eateries and shops along the beach and is easy to explore on foot. There is a long boardwalk along the beach. It lacks the rock formations of Cannon Beach but does have an expansive view and more to offer for dining and shopping, where Cannon Beach is a smaller community and has more natural beauty and serenity. Ecola Park is situated between both communities and both can be linked by the hiking trail through the park which is a visual masterpiece for nature lovers and photographers. I adore both communities regardless of whether I want to shop the artsy storefronts or have a sunset bonfire on the beach."
"Construction going on right now but still nice to walk the beach. Pretty busy."
"Beautiful beach. Kids enjoyed it. Bring shade if you can. The walk from the cars is about 8-10 min from parking area. Plenty of restaurants if you walk back to town which is probably 10-15 minutes."
