"Really disappointed with this insurance company. I know I bear the responsibility, but my renters insurance lapsed. No renewal call, no email (they claimed they sent one but I searched my gmail and spam relentlessly), and no postcard. Needless to say, I discovered this when there was a break-in. I know it’s my responsibility but for the haircut they take on my policies, they can follow up once a year. When I asked them about their non-contact, the lame excuse I got was “corporate says it’s too much liability”. So insurance wasn’t there when I needed it. Well they can keep their corporate insurance and I went somewhere else. Zero stars."
