"I have lived here for a year and a half. I love the dynamic and spacious layout of my apartment and the privacy of the covered balconies. Love seeing and hearing the birds and other wildlife. The trees and landscaping are pretty. It is fairly quiet most of the time and the location is convenient as long as you have a vehicle. There have been some mishaps and maintenance issues for sure but the reason I'm leaving 4 stars anyway is Nicole. She clearly cares about this place and the residents here and she is receptive to feedback. I know I can count on her for solutions, even if the moving parts of those solutions may come together slowly because of other parties involved. Nicole is detailed, polite, and transparent in her communications. She made things so easy when I moved here from out of state. I will say that certain things seem to be neglected at times due to the small staff and supply issues (will all the broken laundry machines ever be fixed?) That's my main gripe. This place has all the bones to be a 5-star property and I would give 5 stars if the place was maintained a little more proactively and if maintenance requests were responded to more quickly and effectively. I believe that this is achievable in the near future so I hope to leave an updated 5-star review once those things are improved. Overall a lovely place to live with some potential for improvement."

"Drive past this one. The management is terrible, the building is falling apart, they use handymen for things that require a pro and that's if you can get them to do anything AT ALL! They barely promise and literally NEVER deliver. My power bill is over $400 for no apparent reason and the office is almost always closed. Save yourself the struggle, this place is awful."

"Nicole has been great since I moved in! The layout is really nice, never had any maintenance issues, and the pool was my fave part! Because of the hill you're on you always get that 7pm sunshine in the summer. I had to break my lease to move for personal reasons, and Nicole was nothing but helpful and understanding!"

"Lived here for two years and found it to be a peaceful neighborhood to live in. Some louder neighbors every now and then but not enough for it to be a nuisance ever. The staff is always friendly, patient, and do their best to answer any questions and give tenant sufficient notice of the going-on's in the complex. The only downside for this year has been delayed construction but, being in the middle level, we did not find that much disturbance when it came to loud ruckus or heavy machinery all the time. It did take a lot longer for projects to be completed, HOWEVER, the improvements were much needed and make the place look and function far better than before. The staff here is always very helpful when you have maintenance concerns at any hour of the day. We had to call after hours a few times for plumbing problems and were always met with swift response time. The regular maintenance man is extremely friendly and will help you with any problems that you may come across. The front office is always quick to respond and always very cordial when speaking with residents. They make it very welcoming to use the club house, pool, and gym at your leisure, though I wish that the pool had been open longer during spring and summer. West Slope is a great complex if you are looking for a big space with a quiet, safe neighborhood with friendly and helpful staff. I will be recommending any of my friends who are seeking a new apartment to go there first!"
