"Dr did not have my sleep test results when I went in for a consultation until the very end. It was never explained to me the severity of my sleep apnea however a CPAP was prescribed. I came in a couple of weeks later was given a machine but never was instructed on the different settings, just cleaning and how to attach mask and hose. This was 3 days before a holiday weekend. Called the tech on Thursday, told she'd call me right back but didn't and was then off for 4 days. Got ahold of someone on Friday who sent me a different mask. Still not comfortable called tech again she reworked my settings. Still couldn't use it. After a month of no use I took it back and will look into other options elsewhere"

"I have had so many sleep studies done, my doctors keep sending me for sleep studies and every time Dr. Shim is so informative about the study. Now if the insurance company would play well with my needs then maybe I would not have to have so many studies done. The clinic is so much better than the hospital sleep center. The beds at the Salem Sleep Medicine are very comfortable, better than most hotels. The rooms are like a nice bedroom setting. The other place, Hospital Sleep Center is not like this at all."

"Just had my 1st overnight sleep study. I am very pleased. The rooms are furnished and very cozy. There is a fan as well as a heater in each room. There is a very comfy bed in each room. As well as a cozy recliner in each room. The clinic is wheelchair accessible. All sleep study rooms are wheelchair accessible. Dr. Shim is the best Sleep Doctor in Salem. My overnight sleep specialist attendant, Courtney was professional, very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Looking forward to getting my results next week."
