"Up until today I couldn't have been happier with the treatment I was receiving from Kaitlyn and Morgan. Sadly I've just cancelled my next 7 appointments. I'm recovering from Achilles tendon surgery and have finally been able to get back to work. During my time following surgery my income has been severely impacted. So when I was offered work on a day when I'd made an appointment I called to cancel. I was 2hrs and 20 minutes past the 24 hour deadline to avoid a 35 a cancellation fee. I couldn't reschedule in the same week but felt sure that rescheduling after the next appointment would satisfy everybody. Apparently I was very wrong. It was either reschedule this week (I was offered a time that was impossible for me to keep unless I was willing to lose another half days pay or be so late as to miss the appointment anyway) or pay the fee. I've cancelled my remaining appointments. I hope that it is felt that the 35 dollar cancellation fee is as welcome as the loss of however much six PT sessions would bring in. No attempt was made to placate me, help me or cut a little slack. "Book for this week or pay the fee". I've stewed on this for a while hoping that I'd calm down and see things clearly rather than through a red mist. Failed with that. I'm not really sure what lesson I can take away from this. Perhaps finding a way of seeing into the near future and determining that my employer was going to be able to find me more much needed work at short notice? All that being said, my actual treatment for my recovery was excellent. Such a pity it won't continue."
"Physical therapy at Benchmark-Willamette Street was essential for me to walk normally again after foot fusion surgery and having no weight on it for six weeks. My surgeon prescribed PT early-on and gave me the date she expected to 'clear me' for PT. Several weeks in advance, I told the Benchmark- Willamette people the date, first session was 2 days after I was cleared. I would have never known to exert my foot so much in order to regain mobility. It is not something I would have done on my own. Paolo was my Therapist, he is awesome. If you need PT, call Benchmark as soon as possible."
"Benchmark was great! I had several sessions there after back surgery. Morgan is incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but also fun and personable. I really appreciate how she got to know my physical issues but also me as a person. Brandon was also great and Kelsey was helpful, too. It was a joy to go there weekly. Thanks everyone!"
"I experienced the clinicians gossiping about patients in front of other patients. I was at the clinic and a phone call came in about a client in a wheelchair and he lives in a group home setting. Laura complained about the staff at the group home and how she was going to have to make a home visit and it would barely cover their fee. She also complained that the staff have rescheduled several times. I joined in on the gossip with them she continued talking with me about the staff and the patient. I felt Morgan was trying to get Laura to stop and was more professional than Laura. There is no privacy to speak to the clinician about how the injury has been feeling and during the treatment. I knew that if they were talking about patients in front of me they were talking about me in front of other patients. The environment is very unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone to this office."
"Melissa Clay is the best PT. My husband was going to another PT and was not getting any results. We thought there was no hope for his neck. Once he switched to Melissa, the recovery was instant. He recovered and was able to referee ice hockey games again. She is the real deal. Melissa also helped me with a full knee replacement. I never thought that I would make it, but with her push and confidence in me, I also recovered and am walking perfectly. Melissa is successful because she cares and doesn’t just clock the time spent working on patients, but makes sure each person has enough time to achieve their goals. It’s comforting to have her in your corner because she always has that “Can Do Attitude “ that spreads to her patients. Thank you for making our lives must better. Debbie Floor"
