"They've always been super sweet and understanding, even when I'm just being anxious, they always answer my questions and work to help me properly understand. They got me on testosterone after one visit and have taken great care of me the entire year after."
"I'd love to be able to leave a better review if I were ever able to get an actual appointment. When I try to schedule an appointment I am given a "no open times are available in the near future" message, and this has been the case every time I've checked in the past month. I guess I officially give up. There's nowhere else I could afford to go, so I guess I'll just be stuck with BV (or whatever I might have) for the foreseeable future."
"Staff was very kind and friendly, very welcoming no judgement zone. I had a procedure the 27th, after he had came back in and insured he got everything and it was done - it was not. The 31st I landed in the ER due to my body contracting and passing clots/bleeding like I’d never seen before due to my body rejecting what he had left behind. I understand no one is perfect but when I’m told I’m in good hands, and he lies to me even he said he completed the task, I don’t feel like I’m in such good hands. My ultrasound showed a deformity, and when I asked him if he noticed anything he hesitated and told me no like I was in the wrong for asking. I’ve done the pill prior from here before and this was the first medical procedure I had with them. The team was awesome but the man doing the procedure seemed to care less. I don’t think I’ll be going back for surgical care."
"wonderful experience no shame no judgement just care. went in for a last min scheduled abortion booked easy and appointment was more then comfortable"
"Absolutely terrible experience with the provider. I had to reschedule my appointment after my original appt at the Danebo location was canceled with no alerting me. The online system didn’t work and I had to play phone tag for at least a week to get another appointment. Finally an appointment was scheduled for May 16th. The front desk woman was very friendly and helped me find the correct door to enter, verified my name and when she lead me to the waiting area, she simply said “have a seat” and didn’t inform me that I needed to check in with anyone else. Because of that, I say there for 45 minutes before asking someone about it. After actually checking in then, I waited another 45 minutes to see a nurse… The care provider, from the moment she began speaking, made me feel on edge. She belittled the concerns I had about birth control when I shared I had lost a friend to a side effect from hers (blood clot in her lung) when we were in high school. I’d also grown up in the south not trusting planned parenthood, so I was feeling pretty out of sorts being here in the first place. She also implied that women were making up stories about how painful IUDs were in order to “tell a story” and “be apart of the conversation”… she said I had nothing to worry about and the side effects were only going to last 6-9 months, I could “give it my best shot” before I changed my mind. Because “after all, aren’t some of these side effects better than having a baby?” She informed me that the numbing agent would feel like a bee sting, it did. And when she came over to insert the implant, I asked her to please touch my arm before she injected it to make sure it was numb, to which she replied “no” and stuck it in… I immediately broke down and when she had the audacity to ask why, I didn’t feel it was worth sharing again how I felt, as she would dismiss it, so I just said it had been a hard day. She brought me juice and cookies to make up for it, so I guess there’s that. On top of it all, my implant is on the outside of my arm rather than the inside where I had researched that they were supposed to be. Even after a week, a slight bump to it was painful. Now after nearly 4 months, it’s still sensitive on the outside of my arm and I’m considering removal and reinsertion to the correct placement. I feel that this care provider is not reflecting the values and care that planned parenthood should be offering to their concerned patients."
