"Have been going here since November/December 2022. I am due with my 2nd boy on Monday the 10th of July. I received a call the morning of the 6th of July stating that if I were to go into labor on the upcoming Saturday or Sunday, there would be no labor and delivery doctors at the Albany Hospital and was referred to Corvallis or Lebanon. I've never been to either and I have already toured and registered with Albany hospital and was looking forward to birthing there. Dr. Dowswell is a wonderful doctor. He is kind, patient, and very helpful. However, I am not thrilled about seeing him for 10 months and then being referred to 2 different hospitals that I've never been too and having the possibility of a stranger delivering my son. Not cool guys. Miraculously just received a phone call the afternoon of the 7th, right before closing, letting me know that there will now be availability this weekend at the Albany hospital. Hopefully no one else has to experience the anxiety and upsetness I had to go through before this was somehow resolved."
"terrible experience. the staff made me very uncomfortable. this was my first type of check up downstairs and i quite literally got told to “strip down and the doctor should be in shortly.” i started to cry as i was scared and didn’t know what was going to happen next. while you wait as you most likely are anxious you get to look at a bulletin board of babies delivered by the Dr. which made me distraught. after the doctor came in (with a student) and gave me some disheartening news during the exam. i was crying and hyperventilating, while getting no sympathy, help, and or information for resources. in the end ultimately got another doctor and his diagnosis was biased and false. Shane M. Gjesdal MD, was the doctor and if you would like to feel uncomfortable, lost, and scared all at once. I’d highly recommend! I will never go back to this place."
"Literally the worst place ever. I have had 4 pregnancy losses since March 2021. These people continue to be cold and rude to me and don't try to help me figure out what's going on. I just poured my feelings out with a nurse over the phone and she responded with "We will call with your results on monday". I'm crying to you about my babies that keep dying and begging for someone to listen and help me. She said I was being rude by begging for help!! I am baffled at how horrible their staff is.. multiple nurses have sat and lied to me about HCG tests as well. This place is a nightmare and would never recommend to ANYBODY."
"Dr. Kiseleva is my all time favorite OGBYN. I hope to be with her for a very long time. She is very kind, and very professional. She always makes me feel comfortable and cracks jokes and makes me smile no matter what procedure we are doing - not to say she doesn't take her job seriously, she is amazing at what she does. She is a bright star on nerve racking appointment days. The nurses that assist her are always easy and friendly as well. They assist and care and have very good friendly chemistry with all in the room. Definitely recommend!"
"I am writing this review to warn anyone coming into this office. The receptionist are not nice. They are very rude and you will probably want to run away. If you are pregnant, please understand that you will have to deal with this every single visit. It is anxiety provoking and horrible. Especially if you’ve received good kind care elsewhere previously. The doctors however are very good and seem to really listen. It’s the only the only thing that keeps me coming back. The entire office would be transformed if only the receptionist weren’t so horrible. I pray they switch them out so that us women seeking care can be comfortable. Until then many of us will just dread going in."
