"Called 211 in May 2023 for assistance getting into housing now it's almost September and I've gotten nowhere with my housing needs. I was dropped by one social worker to have to start all over again with another. All of this has caused me depression and anxiety. I called for help not to develope mental health issues from this agency."

"This place is awesome. I've never met more friendly and helpful people in my life. They are professional at all times AND they seem to truly care about us."

"I love and support volunteer organizations. I volunteer as a professional myself. But when they allow the one nurse to show up or not show up at her will without notifying the clinic, something is horribly wrong. I went in for an STI screening on their every other Monday offering only to find out that the nurse chose not to come that day and that is the routine: "sometimes she shows up and sometimes she doesn't." I find that unacceptable and unprofessional. It takes a minute to send an email or a text of whether or not you can show up. I had called ahead even and they just didn't know if she would show. I would require all volunteers to give 24 hours notice if they are showing up, especially if they are the only ones who can perform the clinical role. I did return 4 days later (when they were sure she would show up) and they did a great and thorough job. Perhaps someone can specifically post whether the Monday screening will be happening? Thanks."

"Eugene's HIV Alliance is an extremely welcoming place to local residents with AND without HIV and other communicable diseases. HIV Alliance is also an amazing place to volunteer. They offer LOTS of programs for our local community, from speakers who can go to your school or workplace and speak about their experiences with HIV, to a hypodermic Needle Exchange for intravenous drug users, to complimentary screenings for HIV, Hepatitis C, and other communicable diseases, to services for those with HIV, and much more! This non-profit is a huge asset to our community, and I truly hope more people will consider donating to and volunteering here. Although I am no longer an active volunteer, my time here was rewarding, and I felt very appreciated by the paid staff."
