"My fiance just had the most incredibly dismissive telehealth appointment regarding her concerns over her COVID diagnosis and her history with pneumonia. The doctor just seemed irritated and rushed for the 10 minutes she was bothered to be on the call and didn't help reassure her or explain much at all and just seemed to be taking to get off the call and soon as possible. Felt more like dealing with a sketchy used car salesman than a doctor."
"Only adding an additional star because the doctors at the clinic are incredible. I’ve had nothing but great experiences and getting my needs met and handling my ongoing chronic health issues. I’m writing such a negative review because the treatment that I have received from the front desk staff and the receptionist has been some of worst most apathetic treatment that I have received in my life. There’s so little compassion, understanding and patient prioritizing that I have ever experienced. I am disheartened that I have had such ongoing horrific experiences during some of the scariest times health-wise. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am writing this in sincerely hoping that there will be change. I’m not the kind of person to leave reviews, but this absolutely needs to be addressed. Please remember that there is a human being on the other end of your call. They may be suffering more than you have ever suffered in your life. To leave them feeling like they aren’t worthy of the smallest amount of kindness, is so wrong. Please stop treating your clients like this."
"This place is now garbage. WVP has turned it into an awful experience, which no one needs when they are ill. My doctor disappeared. I found out three weeks after she was gone. I was told they would reassign me. 5 weeks later, I can’t renew life-saving meds until I see someone, but they assigned me to a physicians ASSISTANT who knows nothing of my condition. I asked to be assigned to an actual doctor and was told I’d have to wait for “administration” to chose a doctor for me or go online and pick someone to request. Then I have to wait for an intake appointment before I can renew my meds. I’ll be dead by then, or my cancer will be back. thanks for nothing Dr’s Clinic. You are the least caring medical facility I’ve ever experienced. I hope your wallets are full because that’s apparently all you care about."
"My last three doctors have left the clinic, so they have changed my doctor three times within the last two years, without consulting me on a new doc, and randomly assigned me to different doctors each time without my consent. Then, they’d ask me to come in for new patient appointments, which cost money, as if it’s my fault that I am a new patient AGAIN. To top it off, no issues I have are taken seriously, lab tests are done improperly resulting in multiple appointments, and I can firmly say that I’ve never had a health issue resolved here. I had to be seen multiple times for strep because a swab was improperly done, and I had to come in again to get them to consider prescribing me antibiotics. In fact, I should mention that they didn’t even WANT to prescribe me the antibiotics until I clearly explained to them HOW it is I know the test was done improperly. Then and only then did they take me seriously. Medical gaslighting is rampant here. Most of the patients I see here are elderly, and my guess is that they probably don’t fight much for REAL answers, which likely results in doctors not feeling the need to take their jobs seriously or feeling they can conduct themselves in unethical ways. That’s the gist I get anyway. Save your time and pocketbook and go to a different clinic. Most physicians and medical assistants here seem bottom of the barrel and reception staff seem apathetic and depressed. This advice is probably unneeded since you likely will never get through on the phone to schedule an appointment anyway."
"Waited on hold for 17 minutes to get ahold of someone to schedule and appointment. Then when they finally answered I asked a clarifying question on if I need to make an appointment or if my doctor can just refill my prescription since it has been a while since I’ve seen him. Before I could say anything else she said “I’ll transfer you medical staff hold on” and proceeded to transfer me. Which put me back on hold for another 5 minutes. I’ve never had to wait this long or been so rudely interrupted to be transfer. I’m disappointed with the purchase of Salem health….. miss the old clinic"
